helping new people connect to the family here at Belpre. Although
many of the sections of our current bulletin will no longer be
featured, you will still be informed of “Belpre Family News”,
including birthdays and anniversaries, through a weekly
announcement page, which will be available here in the building on
foyer tables and sent out via e-mail weekly.
YOUNG AT HEART
Thank you to everyone that so graciously helped us deliver the
fruit baskets to our Senior members. They enjoy the baskets
each year and really enjoy the visit from the Church Family. May
God richly bless you this Christmas Season. The Steering
Committee for Young at Heart.
If you didn’t receive a fruit basket this past Fri., please stop and
see Terry or Ron at the Coffee Shop this morning and they will
make sure that you receive one.
COURAGE TO CHANGE
The Courage to Change Ministry has had a very successful year
with many excellent guest speakers on various topics. The
speakers included; a licensed addiction therapists, a community
activists, a professional baseball player who overcame drug and
alcohol addiction, a heart transplant recipient who is an
advocate for organ donors, and many more. We are especially
grateful for the support from our church family who supported
these speakers by attending these special meetings. We have
seen an increase in our attendance both from members of our
congregation and from the community. We want to thank all of
you who are praying for this ministry that we not only assist in
the recovery process with those who have hurts, addictions, and
relationship issues, but that we are a tool in God’s plan to draw
others into a closer relationship with their Higher Power Jesus
Christ. Because the Holidays of Christmas and New Year both
fall on Thursdays this year Courage to Change will not be
meeting on Dec.25th, or Jan. 1st. Our next scheduled meeting
will be Jan. 8, 2015 so come join us in 2015.
LOVE IN ACTION
Special thanks goes out to all who helped with the 50 foster
children this Christmas season and to Emily Kight for organizing
this. Love In Action wants to wish all of our Belpre family a
wonderful Christmas. This time of year, we tend to be more
aware of how blessed we truly are. We are thankful for a mighty
God who blesses us so much and we are made more aware of
God's gift of HIS son. Love In Action has also been truly blessed
with grants, donations, opportunities to serve, and much more
this year. But our richest blessing has been that of our
volunteers. Each week many in our Belpre family volunteer their
time and muscles to feed those who are less fortunate than
ourselves. We cannot thank each of you enough for all you
do! God has truly been glorified in many ways this year, not only
in this ministry but others in our church. Thank you for sharing
yourselves with so many!

And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all
the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And
this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a
manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those
with whom he is pleased!”
When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us
go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”
And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had
been told them concerning this child.
