Jorge Guerrero, DiplEVPC (ret), DVM, MSc, PhD, is an internation- ally recognized veterinary para- sitologist, with a unique blend of experience in the animal health in- dustry and academia. He has been Adjunct Professor of Parasitology at the University of Pennsylvania since 1983. Dr. Guerrero is Past President of the North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC) and a recipient of the Distinguished Veterinary Parasitologists Award for 2005, granted by the American Association of Veterinary Parasitolo- gists. Dr. Guerrero has authored or co-authored more than 170 refereed original research articles and book chapters, and in 2010 he co-authored a book on helminth parasite infections of dogs and cats.
