BIG NEWS - our church kitchen has officially passed the inspection needed for us to open our Agape Dinners to the whole community every month. Thanks to our Agape Planning Team for their efforts to make it happen after years of discussion. Now it’s your chance to help. Our October menu includes meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and more. Find the Agape donation board in the Family Life Center. Please take a tag or two to help with some of the needed supplies and/or sign up to volunteer your help with our next meal scheduled for Wednesday, October 3 at 5:45pm.
Our youth groups are set to return this evening at 6pm to begin a new program year!
CORE leaders Scott McPherson and Dawn Picard invite all middle high youth to bring their Bible, their appetite, and a friend to go over plans for the coming year, explain the tokens, and end with a few surprises.
JAM leaders Lynnee Schmidt, Mark DeCleene, and Gary Williams are excited to begin a year of awesome discussions, great relationships, and (of course) food with our church family’s senior high young people. Contact Lynnee Schmidt, Youth Administrator at [email protected] for details.
The senior high Youth Coffee Shop returns this morning in our Gathering Area! Find “fair trade”
coffee and tea, specialty drinks, and seasonal treats. Proceeds help support our youth mission activities.

Rev. Meggan Farwell is back in our pulpit this morning with the final part of her sermon series exploring how forgiveness, faith, and family are pivotal in our lives. We’d like to thank her and all the Ruling Elders and retired Pastors who’ve led our summer worship services.
Next Sunday will bring the return of Rev. Dr. Luke Farwell from his Sabbatical Leave this summer. We’re all looking forward to having Pastor Luke back as part of our church family and activities!
Coming Up This Week
Our Judy Allan Memorial Garden has generated more than 400 pounds of produce for local food pantries so far! This week, members of our Christian Education Ministry are scheduled to handle most of the upkeep. Our “God’s Gardeners” volunteers will also meet on Wednesday at 6pm for some additional harvesting. Everyone’s encouraged to help. Please contact Lynn Huebbe at [email protected] for more information.
