Responsive power and effortless operation

Eaton Q-Amp technologyProductivity means everything in a warehouse environment. Reliable machine uptime is part of a successful formula; another factor is operator efficiency. A comfortable, confident operator will perform more effectively, economically, and safely.

Better results with less effortAdvanced Eaton components can help you develop better lift trucks that meet your customers’ ergonomic and performance requirements, reducing operator input effort by 50 percent in the most challenging portion of the duty cycle.

A lift truck equipped with Q-Amp Steering can perform

the basic set of maneuvers in a typical duty cycle with only 4.4 total turns of the steering wheel (see diagram above); a conventional system requires 8.8 turns to perform the same set of maneuvers. Multiply that motion savings by hundreds of repetitions per day, and the result is a significant reduction in operator fatigue.

While the turns lock to lock are reduced at high steering

The diagram shows a typical lift truck maneuver with Q-Amp steering. Standard lift truck steering requires 2.2 turns for every command labeled 1.1 turns.

input rates, the fine metering control needed at high vehicle travel speed is unchanged. The change in steering ratio in a lift truck equipped with Q-Amp technology is smooth and seamless. There are no steps, no buttons to push, or switches to engage. Operation is completely automatic and transparent to the operator. Q-Amp makes an operator’s job easier every day.
