The unit designs with 2 adjustable sub-bands to allow increase flexibility. CDMA an d WCDMA sub-bands are 1.25MHz-10MHz. It supports the ability to amplify all kinds of customizable frequency allocation by CDMA and WCDMA signal without any hardware change, especially for customer whose spectrum allocations are not continuous and/or who have different frequency allocation in different regions. With sub-band RF ON/OFF switch, the product can be used not only for CDMA, WCDMA modulation separately, but also for CDMA and WCDMA input simultaneously in different sub-bands. It is a cost-effective solution and can be widely deployed for dual-mode network rollout and optimization. Local and remote configuration and surveillance is possible through Comba’s remote control and monitoring system (OMT), via PC or wireless modem to the OMT/OMC. Internal Li-ion battery backup ensures alarm signals are sent out in the event of power failure. The RD-1932 comes in a sealed, well-ventilated cast aluminum enclosure, suitable for all weather conditions. Funct ional Block Diagram

RD-1932 Split Band Selective Repeater is designed for outdoor installation/indoor coverage in 1900MHz PCS band. Theunit designs with 2 adjustable sub-bands to allow increase flexibility. CDMA and WCDMA sub-bands are 1.25MHz-10MHz.

It supports the ability to amplify all kinds of customizable frequency allocation by CDMA and WCDMA signal without any

hardware change, especially for customer whose spectrum allocations are not continuous and/or who have different

frequency allocation in different regions. With sub-band RF ON/OFF switch, the product can be used not only for CDMA,

WCDMA modulation separately, but also for CDMA and WCDMA input simultaneously in different sub-bands. It is acost-effective solution and can be widely deployed for dual-mode network rollout and optimization.

Local and remote configuration and surveillance is possible through Comba’s remote control and monitoring system

(OMT), via PC or wireless modem to the OMT/OMC. Internal Li-ion battery backup ensures alarm signals are sent out in

the event of power failure. The RD-1932 comes in a sealed, well-ventilated cast aluminum enclosure, suitable for allweather conditions.

Accessed via RJ45 connection and internet browser, installation and commissioning of the RD-1932 can be accomplished

easily from the web OMT. Using the integrated wireless modem (data or SMS mode), equipment parameters can bemonitored and controlled remotely.

Controlled equipment parameters include: Sub-band Switch, Frequency Range, ATT, RF Switch, Over-Temp Threshold,

DL Output Power Threshold, DL Input Power Threshold and Alarm Report Enable.

Monitored equipment parameters include: Alarms (LNA, PA, PLL unlock, Power Down, PSU Fault, Chassis Lock, DL Output

Power Low, DL Input power Overload, Over Temp, VSWR), DL Output Power and DL Input Power.

The RD-1932 has been developed to take advantage of advanced network operation, where the OMC (optional) provides

an effective solution for central monitoring of a group of Comba products.
