    Brie: oound is a social web and

    mobile application designed to con-

    nect its users based on their physi-

    cal location. For its rst release

    o the application on the iPhone,

    oound needed a brand identity to

    distinguish itsel among principally

    similar iPhone applications and to

    design an experience o using the

    application which will set it apart

    rom other location-based social

    applications.

    Solution:While the rest o the

    mobile sphere stayed sae with a

    solemn and conventional visual lan-

    guage, we took a more playul ap-

    proach and created a brand identity

    based on a blob-like mascot charac-

    ter. We designed the character with

    really simple shapes or its eyes

    and mouth and called it bluu. bluu

    and the entire visual language is

    designed to represent the riendly,

    approachable and casual purpose

    o oound.

    Brie: Mutiny is the go-to destina-

    tion or all things, Indianrom

    witty banter about sports and

    entertainment to the more serious

    political discussions and social

    issues. Mutiny needed to meet the

    demands o its hungry and intellec-

    tual audience, and to dierentiate

    themselves rom their competitors.

    Solution: We created an identity

    with a modern and avant gardetypographical orm. The MTNY

    letterorms are custommade us-

    ing compound geometric shapes

    subtracted rom and added to each

    other, to orm an interesting sym-

    metry. Using this precise approach,

    we attempt to express invisible

    mathematical orces in typographi-

    cal orm and produce a wordmark

    that speaks o a smart, savvy and

    cuttingedge media company.

    Brie: Shashi Tharoor, a senior

    minister in India and a noted

    humanitarian activist ounded the

    Chandran Tharoor Foundation to

    promote the social advancement

    and development o marginalized

    individuals and groups in the Indian

    state o Kerala. The oundation

    needed a brand and communica-

    tion strategy to prolierate the oun-

    dations message and to extend its

    reach to potential contributors anddonors.

    Solution: We created a brand iden-

    tity consisting o the letters o C

    and T (Chandran and Tharoor) in the

    orm o an umbrella as a represen-

    tation o a reliable organization in

    times o diculty. We also devel-

    oped an online communication

    strategy which encapsulates the

    goals o the oundation and actions

    people can take to contribute. We

    crated the narrative to inspire oth-

    ers to support, and perhaps join,

    Shashi Tharoor in his movement.

    Brie: LogisticsWeek is both an

    online publication and ofine

    magazine which provides up-to-

    date industrial and trade content

    to readers in the logistics busi-

    ness. Covering both the printed

    and online space, LogisticsWeek

    wishes to position itsel as the

    gamechanging new magazine that

    is going redene how trade content

    is served and thus needed a brand

    which refects its vision.

    Solution: We created a brand iden-

    tity which expresses the character-

    istics o the nature o LogisticsWeek

    in a serious yet resh way. We

    developed a striking redbased

    visual style with a bold typographi-

    cal mark to represent the modern

    magazine. We also designed the

    magazine cover, website and a ull

    identity system.

    General. With his new political

    responsibilities, he needed a com-

    munication strategy to engage his

    people, community and supporters.

    Solution: We worked with the

    initiatives to develop the content

    strategy and inormation architec-ture or a new web portal which

    combine the best o his previous

    two sites into one which oers

    simple access to inormation and

    provides an easy way to connect

    with Shashi Tharoor and his oce.

    We also devised a social strategy

    which included the use o Twitter

    and his website to nurture conver-

    sations between himsel and his

    community which in turn multiplied

    his popularity exponentially. To date

    he has more than 680,000 ollowers

    on Twitter.

    dependent and authoritative restau-

    rant guide in Asia which celebrates

    Asias best ches and restaurants.

    Ate Media needed a website to at-

    tract ood acionados to cast votes

    on their avorite restaurants which

    would be eatured in the restaurant

    guide.

    Solution: We created an easy to use

    website which serves as a inorma-tion resource on The Miele Guide

    and to collect votes rom users.

    We have iterated and improved the

    user interace over the past two edi-

    tions and have increase the votes

    collected in 2009 over 2008 by

    more than 46% with 98,000 votes

    casted or 400 restaurants.

    Brie: Wheelock Properties is a

    property investor and developer

    with businesses in Hong Kong and

    Singapore, with a ocus on luxury

    residences. Wheelock Proper-

    ties wishes to emphasize in their

    investor collateral their practice o

    installing art such as paintings and

    sculptures in their properties with

    the underlying artistic and architec-

    tural philosophy o the company.

    Solution: The challenge or us is to

    to create an appealing design which

    communicates the core values o

    Wheelock Properties while em-

    phasizing the companys apprecia-

    tion in ne art and architecture. To

    achieve the eect, we created an

    assymetric layout with detailed

    architectural blueprints to convey a

    sense o sophistication. Rich pho-

    tography o art pieces were added

    to represent the companys artistic

    values.

    Brie: SingaporeBrides.com is a

    onestop resource or everything

    weddingrom selecting the

    perect wedding ring to nding a

    romantic honeymoon destination.

    SingaporeBrides.com conceived

    o the idea o creating an interac-

    tive media platorm to showcase

    wedding gowns created by local

    designers. An online gallery was

    proposed.

    Solution: We created Wedding Fash-

    ion Showcase which demonstrates

    a simple, interactive user interace

    and a slideshow gallery o sumptu-

    ous wedding gowns. The gowns

    can be viewed individually in detail

    and added to a wish list which can

    be orwarded to boutiques or sub-

    sequent ollowup.

    Brie: Launched in March 2007,

    HungryGoWhere.com is Singa-

    pores most popular and astest

    growing ood website, with more

    than 17,000 public reviews on more

    than 5,000 eateries. As part o its

    partnership with MSN Singapore,

    HungryGoWhere underwent a

    website redesign and needed as-

    sistance in ensuring the new site

    provides a positive user experi-

    ence or its community, in terms ospeed, usability and ease o nding

    inormation.

    Solution: We took charge o imple-

    menting the new user interace

    designed by Supershapes while

    netuning it or better inormation

    fow, ease o use and speed. We

    tried to engineer the ront-end ar-

    chitecture o the website so that it is

    as standardscompliant as possible

    and implemented as many o the

    best practices recommended by Ya-

    hoo! or speeding up websites. The

    measures include reducing HTTP

    requests with CSS sprites, placing

    stylesheets at the top o the code

    and scripts at the bottom, progres-

    sive loading o images, etc.

    company.

    Solution: We conceived a booklet

    design which ullled the inor-

    mational objectives by means o

    ecient communication. With a

    thorough content strategy, we

    combined detailed case studies and

    inormation graphics, presented

    inormation eectively such that the

    booklet is easy and ast to read and

    aorded a clear understanding o

    the business.

    Brie: The Takshashila Institution

    is an independent, nonpartisan,

    nonprot organisation which aims

    to contribute towards building the

    intellectual oundations o an India

    with global interests, through a

    variety o initiatives as a networked

    think tank. The institution needed

    a strategic partner to help crat its

    brand identity in a way which repre-

    sents its values and communicates

    its vision.

    Solution: We worked with the

    institution and design an identity

    system which included the design

    o a custom typeace, a logo and

    website. The image we crated or

    the institution refects the historical

    messages the Takshashila name,

    o the oldest known university in

    the world, carries. As a strategic

    partner, we are continuously work-

    ing with the institution to grow and

    evolve its brand as it matures.

    Brie: Fisheye Pictures Haze is

    a short lm written and directed

    by Anthony Chen which captures

    a slice o youth that all o us once

    possessed. The lm was nominated

    or the Best Short Film at the 58th

    Berlin International Film Festival

    in 2007. Fisheye Pictures needed a

    communication strategy to promote

    the lm in the estival.

    Solution:We created the Hazewebsite, an interactive gallery

    o high-resolution lm stills to

    promote the lm leading to the pre-

    miere at the lm estival. A press

    kit was also created to augment the

    promotion. It included a poster, a

    set o postcards and a brochure that

    unolded into an impressive meter-

    wide display.

    ollowing an avant garde theme.

    The Capture time idea was

    proposed, to bring to light the little

    stories that occurs in our daily lives.We derived shapes rom watch

    parts and designed a geometrical

    system that can be constructed in

    dierent ways to create interesting

    number orms.

    brands, 24seven needed an identity

    which provides a sophisticated yet

    approachable representation o its

    vision to its network o brands and

    social content publishers.

    Solution:We created an identity

    which would be emblematic othis platorm and to demonstrate

    the passion and diversity o the

    blogoshpere. The marque is a

    rainbow-colored wheel which con-

    sists o seven overlapping ellipses

    arranged in harmony with each

    ellipse representing a day or 24

    hours, expressing the harmony and

    vivacity o the community contrib-

    uting to the platorm.

    Brie:The Indian Premier League

    (IPL), is a Twenty20 cricket competi-

    tion initiated by the Board o Con-

    trol or Cricket in India (BCCI) and

    supervised by BCCI Vice President

    Lalit Modi, Chairman & Commis-

    sioner or IPL. The IPL wanted to

    explore social media marketing as

    a means to deeper connect to its

    existing anbase and to extend its

    reach to more ans outside its im-

    mediate community.

    Solution: We developed viral and

    social strategies which are centered

    around the discovery and creation

    o viral content based on extensive

    research made possible by our

    COMA Social Sense real-time social

    analytics and sentiment monitoring

    system. With COMA Social Sense

    we are able to identiy and analyze

    in real time conversations about the

    IPL and related keywords around

    the internet and with this data we

    develop inormed and data-ocused

    strategies.
