Enjoy breathtaking panoramas of vivid fall foliage as we ride the Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad, climbing to an elevation over 10,000 feet. Travel through the untamed wilderness of the San Isabel National Forest and travel along the Arkansas River Valley. You’ll have spectacular views of Freemont Pass and the two tallest peaks in Colorado, Mt. Massive and Mt. Elbert. 5 // Limon, CO Arrive in Georgetown, a Victorian-style mining community in Clear Creek Canyon. Hop on the Georgetown Loop Railroad and step back to the time when railroads were a way of life. This memorable journey will take us over high trestles and above yawning gorges adorned with brilliant gold foliage. Lunch is served in Georgetown. Then, we make our way to the Mile High City. Located at the base of the foothills, Golden was the territorial capital until 1867 and remains one of the most historical towns in the state. An arch spanning the street proudly proclaims that Golden is “Where the West Lives!” Tour the legendary Coors Brewery highlighting the malting, brewing and packaging processes. End with a sampling of Coors’ fine products and shopping in the gift shop!
