YEAR 7 BOYS AFL Congratulations to the 23 Year 7 Boys who went out on Wednesday 8

th June 2016 to represent the school in AFL. The

team played 3 games in total, 1 win, 2 losses but were the only team on the day to score a goal against the dominant Berwick which was a fantastic effort. A huge thank you to our fantastic Year 9 helpers who not only helped umpire but also assisted and coached the team on the day. A fantastic effort by all on a cold Melbourne day.

SCHOOL PRODUCTION The school production cast and teachers have been busily rehearsing every Thursday afternoon and even a few Saturdays during Term 2. The cast and teachers have just returned from the Production Camp at Mt Morton in Belgrave. The camp provided students and teachers with invaluable rehearsal time for singing, dancing, acting as well as the band. The students have all collaborated so well and have continued to build their confidence - as well as making some new friends along the way. We are also really lucky this year as we have a lovely parent sponsor, RRs Driving School for our Production. With their generous donation we will be able to buy some much needed costumes for our cast of over 70 students! Tickets will be available next Term. Show nights are Tuesday 30

th August, Wednesday 31

st August and Thursday

1st

September 2016. We hope to see you there. Refer to Page 4 of this Newsletter for a Gift Voucher Coupon from our sponsor, RRs Driving School
