disappointed when decisions
come out.
o Think about “good fit” schools
where you’ll be happy – and that
are a financial fit for your family.
o Check four-year graduation
rates! This is a hidden cost.

moment –schedule time
to get the work done.
Last Minute = Stressful + Poor Quality
o Get to work now!
o Don’t try to save essays and applications for when you can find the time,
or after finals – PRIORITIZE THEM.
o Figure out how many essays and applications you have left before
Christmas, and schedule out time over the coming weeks to work on them.
o This is a lesson in time management – we know there are tests and
assignments for school. Make your college applications a high priority!
The time you spend on a supplemental essay could make the difference
between getting in and getting rejected.
