Mass for Deceased Children
Your child, no matter his or her age, who may have passed away long ago or recently, is loved, cherished and missed. On Wednesday, November 6 at 6:30, our Collaborative Par-ishes will celebrate a Mass for Deceased Children at St. Thomas More Church. All parents, grandparents and others whose children have died under any circumstance are invited to share in this powerful and consoling experience of wor-ship. We encourage families of miscarried or stillborn chil-dren and families who are searching for healing after abor-tion to share with us as well.
News & Notes October is RESPECT FOR LIFE Month:
May we hold fast to Christ, our hope, in every season of life.
Warm thanks from the Respect Life Committee to the enormous generosity of the parishioners of St, Thomas More and Sacred Heart Parishes. The Baby Bottle Cam-paign enriches the lives of babies and mothers. The added cooperation of signing the petition drive to "permit the state to exclude abortion services from state-funded health care" reflects your commitment to human life. Blessings on all. P.S. Bottles filled and unfilled may be left at the Parish Office for collection.

Disciples in Mission …. is a series of workshops sponsored by the Archdiocese of Boston to provide training for priests, deacons, parish and finance council mem-bers, lay leaders and parish staff in the process of pastoral planning to-wards a New Evangelization in the Church of Boston. The leaders of our collaborative parishes have attended these sessions and have put forth a pastoral plan that can be viewed on our website (www.shstm.org). Please visit this site if you have not yet done so as it contains the goals and objectives for growing disciples in mission in our collaborative.

Annual Mass of Remembrance and Healing for Pregnancy and Infant Loss
Pro-Life Office and Project Rachel ministry of the Archdio-cese of Boston will sponsor the Annual Mass of Remem-brance and Healing for Pregnancy and Infant Loss on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:00 p.m. at Bethany Chapel in the Pastoral Center (66 Brooks Drive, Braintree). A light reception and opportunity for Sacramental Reconciliation (Confession) will also be available after Mass.
November: 2019 Annual Catholic Appeal “This is Our Church” Each year, thousands of households throughout the Archdiocese support the Catholic Appeal. Their gifts are given to help our neighbors in our community and around the world. Just one more pledge billing will be sent before the conclusion of the 2019 Cath-olic Appeal of the Archdiocese of Boston. On behalf of those who work in or benefit from the funded ministries and services, thank you to those of you who have made a gift or completed your pledge payments. Re-member that when our Parish exceeds its goal, a percentage of the addi-tional funds received are returned for use in our Parish.

Collaborative Parishes of Sacred Heart and Saint Thomas More
We ask that you prayerfully consider this method for financially supporting
your parishes:
Online Giving, Weekly Envelopes, Auto Bill Pay assure consistent giving and help us to budget and assure that we can maintain services. While we
are most grateful for any gift that any parishioner can give at any time to help us maintain a more consistent
cash flow, we have established online giving programs at both Sacred Heart
& Saint Thomas More Parishes.
Those parishioners who use the program tell us it is a great help to them.
It allows them to clearly budget the amount that they want to give back to God
and helps them feel assured that their parish is receiving their gift even when
they are out-of-town, too busy to remember an envelope, or attending Mass
at another parish. If you would like to learn more about this easy, safe and secure
way of giving, please call or stop by our Business office or visit our website.
Collaborative Food Pantry Our Food Pantry is located in the hall at St. Thomas More. We are grateful for the many donations we receive each week. Items may be left in the foyers of each Church any time. If you are in need of food, or have any y questions kind-ly call Maureen at the office. Thank you for your continuing generosity!
