The engines have yet to blast their fi nal “roar” of this spectacular 2010 season, but the WSK Promotion or-ganisers are already working to arrange the dates and

venues for next year. The fi rst news is that the Master Series will be the fi rst objective of the season with 5 rounds instead of the 3 held this year, all on Italian soil. The season will start, as usual, on the La Conca circuit at the end of February, fol-lowed, as you can see on the right, Castelletto di Branduz-zo, Val Vibrata, Siena (the three tracks used this year) before the last round in Viterbo. The Euro Series on the other hand will have 1 round less over a 4 month period, moving from Sarno to Muro Leccese, in Italy, before moving to Portimao, Portugal, and to the fi nal round in Zuera, Spain. Something completely new, however, is the Champions Cup which will be held at the end of August, an exclusive event, which is expected to have a strong media impact, and involves the “top” categories in the magnifi cent countryside scenery at “Le Circuit” in Mont Tremblant Canada. The fi nal event of the season, however, will be held at Ortona (Italy), with the Final Cup open to all classes, including 60 Mini, at the new International Circuit in Abruzzo. Novità in partenza, con la Master Series primo traguardo stagionale da conquistare dopo 5 prove, invece delle 3 di quest’anno, tutte sul territorio italiano. Il via, come da tradizione, sul circuito La Conca alla fi ne di febbraio, quindi, come potete vedere qui a destra, Castelletto di Branduz-zo, Val Vibrata, Siena (le tre piste su cui si è corso anche quest’anno) prima dell’ultimo round a Viterbo. Diminuisce di un appuntamento, invece, la Euro Series che nell’arco di meno di 4 mesi assegnerà i suoi titoli spostandosi da Sarno a Muro Leccese per poi andare in Portogallo, a Portimao, e concludere il tutto a Zuera, in Spagna. total of 3 successes in WSK, adding the two cups in 2010 to the one he won in 2007 in KZ2. If you then add his 2nd pla-ce in the 100 FA 2006 and his 3rd place in the KZ2 in 2008, the Belgian defi nitely holds the record for climbing onto the WSK podium the most times. Just 2009 was a bit bleak, with a win in the Salbris round. Looking back once more at the history of WSK, we can’t ignore the fact that the double triumph by Convers prevented De Vries from reaching Thon in the victory standings. The Dutchman has in fact two victories: 2008 and 2009 both in KF3. Alongside himself and Con-
