Book Report

The book report is the most complete view of a book from the reader´s point. It has three main parts:

INTRODUCTION:State the title, author and theme of the book (not genre)

BODY:Here you summarize the plot of the book in your own words. PLOT: the story itself, what happens at the beginning, how the story develops and how the story ends.

You may use your reading log by chapters so you don´t miss any detail of it.

CLOSING:Here you give your opinion. Write a paragraph or two about whether you liked it or not. Make sure you support your opinion with examples of why you think something was good for you or why it wasn´t.

Write a first draft, check and correct any vocabulary, grammar or composition mistakes. Also, check for irrelevant information that may be erased or details you forgot to include. Finally, write your definitive book report.
