1. From Coimbatore head for NH 67 (Mettupalayam Road) anddrive north to Mettupalayam (about 33 km), passingThudialur, Jothipuram and Karamadai en route.

2. Continue along NH 67 for another 36 km till you reach Ooty.

3. Continue along NH 67 for a further 37 km, and you reachGudalur.

4. Take a sharp left turn on to SH 28 and head south west forabout 8 km.

5. Turn right on to the Gudalur-S Bathery Road and drive forabout 43.5 km and you reach Sultan Bathery.

6. From Sulthan Bathery continue along NH 212 (T NarsipuraRoad) for about 3 km and then turn right on to theNadavayal-Panamaram Road.

9. From Panamaram turn right on to the Kalpetta-Mananthavady Road and drive for about 10 km till you reach 4th Mile (Nalaam Mile)

10. Turn left at 4th Mile Jn. (Nalaam Mile) and get on to theMananthavady-Pakramthalam Rd and drive for about 4 km till you reach SH 54.

Turn right and drive along SH 54 for about 0.5 km and you are in Tharuvana.
