Road Map for Raheja Facility as 4 Star Rated Building Reference to BEE Benchmark
Investment Initiatives
Hyderabad is defined under Hot Semi Arid Climate zone as per BEE- Energy
Conservation Building Code. CTS Facility is 6 years old and presently matches to BEE
standards of Three-Star rated building with more than 80% of the space is air-
conditioned.
Objective
• To achieve Specific Energy Consumption equivalent to 4 Star Rated Building
by year 2019
Road map to 4 Star Rated Building
To achieve set objective in coming years, we have planned various Energy
Conservation projects like retrofit of conventional UPS to modular UPS and LED
lightings.

Installation of pull cord switches for 750 fixtures of 4x14w T5 light fitting
with approx. annual energy saving of 33,750 KWH.
Pull cord cost was INR 50 each with total amount of INR 80,000 (1600
nos)
Weekend load reduction by switching of water dispensers, coffee
machines, toilet exhaust, kitchen equipment's and
Strictly maintaining workspace temperature in the range of 24-26 Deg
together annual saving of energy 54,500 KWH.
