On April 16th 2019, the major customers from Bühler (India) Die Casting gathered to celebrate the opening of the new Die Casting Technology Center and Test Facility at Bengaluru, India. Die casting technology centre is equipped with a new Ecoline S Pro 84 die casting machine with integral Peripherals, Dataview Controller, and Oil Cleaner. A ribbon cutting and lamp lighting ceremony marked the official opening of the Die Casting Technology Center. The Inauguration was attended by over 25 customers and Bühler sales, service & management team members.
The Die Casting Technology Center in Bengaluru, is now a state-of-the-art facility. This facility will help the customers to bring their die and take trials of components. Bühler will offer customer specific training in machine Programming, Electronics, Hydraulics, and Maintenance. With a full time application technology on board Buhler India will be able to support customers on site for : Optimizing HPDC machines cycle for effective usage of peripherals like Robot, Auto Spray, Trimming Press, Conveyors,
Quenching tank and other peripherals New die setting on HPDC machines including Machine Parameters, Auto spray Head designing, Auto Spray Programming,
Robot setting Working on cycle time reduction by process optimization & automation to increase productivity To improve Overall Equipment Efficiency of the Die casting cell
The investment in India is another important step for Büher to reinforce the commitment to the die casting industry across South Asia. Today more than 400 Ecoline cells are running successfully around the globe.Mr. Kedar Vaidya, Business Unit Head - Die Casting welcomed all the guest, give an overview of the new technology centre, support, services that is being offered and thanked them for attending the inauguration program. Mr. A V Venkatesh Kumar, Head of HR & Administration addressed the gathering with a short presentation giving an overview on Bühler India operations and Bühler Academy which was initiated with the objective of creation of future Talent for customers & Bühler organization.
Mr. Marc Fuchs, Director Global Sales Die Casting made a technical presentation on the Global Market Scenario, latest trends in the Die Casting Industry, Intelligent Cell Management and Predictive analytics. Mr. Martin Lagler, Director Global Application Technology give a presentation on Structural parts, Bühler Application Technology covering Die design, concepts,optimisation, simulation and Metallurgical analysis. Customers were taken around for shop floor and Application Mill Centre tour. They had an opportunity to interact with our technical team and understand the wide portfolio of machines manufactured for Grains and Food business from Buhler India factory.

Conference on "RECYCLING OF ALUMINIUM FOR ALLOY MANUFACTURING & EXTRUSION BILLET CASTING” on 25-26 April 2019 at Hotel Sheraton Grand Pune organized by GDCTECH FORUM AND ALUMINIUM EXTRUDERS' COUNCIL (ALEX) was a grand success. The conference attracted 60 number of delegates and speakers worldwide. The quality of presentations, participation by delegates and networking during the event led to two days of exciting deliberations and outcome.The conference was inaugurated by all dignitaries Mr. H. T. Makhijani, Dr. Aniruddha Karve, Mr. Amar Singh, Mr. Anand Joshi & Mr. R. T. Kulkarni
