•Contents pages have numbers of what pages to go to within the magazine so people can look for the article they want to read •There are picture of what's on some of the pages so the audience has a sort of preview before they go to that page •Headings separating different sections of the magazine so the audience can look easier

•All the pictures on the contents page have numbers on them to anchor the picture

•Contents pages always have a persistent colour scheme (normally white and black) to keep it simple to read

•The contents page always has a layout of columns, usually 3 or 4 for more space for images and to keep finding the page your looking for easier

•On the bottom of the contents page is normally the magazines website address / contact details

•There are normally credits for the front cover picture within the contents page so the audience can know who designed it

•The numbers on the contents page never have page or pg next to them it always just a number to create more space around the page
