March 16, 2020 The Community Foundation of Pulaski County has been monitoring news related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and reviewing its upcoming events and activities in response to the pandemic. The health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers, and staff is a top priority. Our office has taken additional safety measures and will remain open for business at this time. However, as our communities are effectively pausing in an effort to contain and mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Community Foundation has determined from now through April 3, 2020, meetings will be postponed or held electronically to reduce the risk of virus transmission. We will continue our daily work and staff will be available by phone, email, and conference call. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor circumstances and will assess the need for additional cancellations, closings or adjustments on an ongoing basis. The Community Foundation wants to be responsive and supportive to the community during this pandemic. Staff are working and accessible. All grants and scholarships will continue to be processed and awarded as planned. We do not feel this is a time for panic, although the situation is developing rapidly. The health of our staff and community is of utmost concern and we are taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all those involved. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at 574-946-0906 or via email at [email protected] .
