Primary Care Pediatric
Nursing Update
The focus of this much requested pediatric program
is to meet the KBN advanced practice requirements
for pharmacology as well as to provide current
information on critical issues in general pediatric
nursing practice across all settings. Updated
evidenced based information will include content on
legal issues, pediatric forensics, pharmacology, and
much more!
Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to
apply the latest updates in the field to their
pediatric practice settings
Target Audience: All nurses, RNs, APRNs, and
other health care providers for pediatric patients in
both acute and primary care settings.

Refund/ Cancellation Policy
A full refund, less a $25 processing fee, will be issued for all cancellations re-
ceived or postmarked at least one week prior to the course date. No refunds are
issued thereafter.
Cancellations received the day of the course are not eligible for a refund.
UK College of Nursing Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel a
course when circumstances are warranted. In such a case, a full refund will be
issued. UK College of Nursing is not responsible for hotel, plane, car, or other
such fees.

uing nursing education contact hours, and access to conference materials. Materials
will be provided online.

Accreditation
The University of Kentucky, College of Nursing is accredited as a provider of
continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s
Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).
This educational activity is offered for a maximum of 7.5 ANCC contact hours.
The Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) approves The University of Kentucky,
College of Nursing (UKCON) as a provider as well. ANCC and KBN approval of
a continuing nursing education provider does not constitute endorsement
of program content nor commercial sponsors. The University of Kentucky does
not approve commercial products. This educational activity is offered for a maxi-
mum of 9.2 KBN contact hours. Provider #: 3-0008-01-18– 863. In order to receive
credit, participants complete CNE activity, complete the evaluation form. Certif-
icates may be printed once the evaluation is completed.
