Hue Jackson was named the 16th full-time head coach in Cleveland Browns history by Owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam on January 13, 2016. He brings 29 years of coaching experience, including the last 15 in the NFL. He has spent nine seasons coaching in the AFC North, dur-ing which time he helped his team advance to the postseason seven times. Jackson was head coach of the Oakland Raiders in 2011 and guid-ed the team to an 8-8 record. He has also served as offensive coordinator in Washington (2003), Atlanta (2007), Oakland (2010) and Cincinnati

(2014-15).

Jackson has spent the past four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. During that time, he helped the Bengals to two division titles and a trip to the postseason all four years. In 2012, he served as secondary/as-sistant special teams coach before coaching the running backs in 2013. Jackson spent the past two seasons (2014-15) as offensive coordinator.

With Jackson as coordinator in 2015, the Bengals offense fi nished third in the AFC in yards per play (5.7) and points per game (26.2). He was voted by the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA) as the Co-Assistant Coach of the Year as quarterback Andy Dalton set a ca-reer high and franchise record with a 106.3 rating, which led the AFC and was second in the NFL. After losing Dalton to injury in Week 14, Jackson guided quarterback A.J. McCarron to a 2-1 record in the fi nal three games of the season as the Bengals clinched the AFC North title. The Cincinnati running game produced two 700-yard rushers in Jer-emy Hill (794) and Giovani Bernard (730) for the fi rst time since 1988. Tight end Tyler Eifert experienced a breakout season after hauling in 13 touchdown receptions, the most by a Bengals tight end in franchise history and the most by a Cincinnati player since 2001. Wide receiver A.J. Green added 10 receiving touchdowns on 86 receptions for 1,297 yards. Eifert, Green and left tackle Andrew Whitworth were selected to the Pro Bowl.

In Jackson’s fi rst year as offensive coordinator for Cincinnati in 2014, the run game posted its highest yards per game average (134.1) since 2000. Dalton passed for 3,398 yards and Green totaled 1,041 receiving yards. Hill led all NFL rookies with 1,124 rushing yards, the second-most by a Bengals rookie in team history.

After spending the 2010 season as the Raiders offensive coordinator, Jackson was promoted to head coach in 2011. Oakland fi nished the

year 8-8 and tied for fi rst in the AFC West but missed the postseason via tiebreaker. The 8-8 mark was the best record by any Raiders team since 2002. The Raiders fi nished ninth in the NFL in total offense (379.5 yards per game) and seventh in rushing offense (131.9).

Before joining the Raiders, Jackson spent two seasons (2008-09) as quarterbacks coach for Baltimore, helping the Ravens advance to the playoffs both years. He was vital in the development of Joe Flacco, who was named NFL Rookie of the Year in 2008 and became the fi rst rookie quarterback to win two playoff games as the Ravens advanced to the AFC Championship game.

From 2004-06, Jackson served as the Bengals wide receivers coach, helping develop one of the best wide receiver tandems in NFL history with Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh. During that span, the two combined to average 173.3 catches, 2,363.3 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns per season. In 2005, Johnson led the AFC with 1,432 receiving yards. In 2006, Johnson and Houshmandzadeh became the fi rst Bengals duo to each top 1,000 receiving yards in the same season.

Jackson gained his fi rst fulltime NFL experience with Washington, where he served as the running backs coach from 2001-02, before being promoted to offensive coordinator in 2003. Under Jackson’s tutelage, running back Stephen Davis led the NFC with 1,432 rushing yards in 2001.

Jackson spent 14 years coaching on the college level, going from a grad-uate assistant at Pacifi c all the way to offensive coordinator at Southern California. He spent four seasons (1997-2000) as USC’s offensive coor-dinator, where he also helped to recruit and develop players, including quarterback Carson Palmer, who went on to win the Heisman Trophy and be selected No. 1 overall in the NFL draft.

He was a minority coaching fellowship intern with the Los Angeles Rams in 1990, Arizona Cardinals in 1992 and Washington Redskins in 1995. He also served as the running backs/wide receivers/special teams coach for the London Monarchs of the World League in 1991.

Born Oct. 22, 1965, Jackson was a quarterback at Pacifi c from 1985-86 and threw for 2,544 yards and 19 touchdowns. The Los Angeles native also lettered in basketball and earned his degree in physical education.

Jackson and his wife, Michelle, have three daughters, Jordyn, Baylee and Haydyn.

Cleveland Browns FoundationThe Cleveland Browns Foundation is dedicated to a solution-based, holistic approach to ensure Northeast Ohio youth receive the development and education they need as a foundation for inde-pendence and success.

For more info, visit www.clevelandbrowns.com/foundation.

Cleveland Browns Foundation 50/50 Raffl eThe Cleveland Browns Foundation’s 50/50 Raffl e will return for all Browns home games in 2016. Through the fundraiser, Browns fans can support the team’s efforts to improving education and youth development in Northeast Ohio, as well as have the chance to take home half of the day’s contributions.

Raffl e tickets are available throughout FirstEnergy Stadium dur-ing the game, while volunteers will also be onsite at Dawg Pound Drive and select tailgate lots prior to kickoff. Browns fans inside the stadium will also be able to acquire 50/50 Raffl e tickets direct-ly through the Browns Mobile App, a new feature added in 2016.

The 50/50 Raffl e raised more than $160,000 for the Cleveland Browns Foundation and local charities in 2015, while fans also won more than $160,000.

Shoes and Clothes 4 Kids (SC4K) is also one of the 2016 benefi -ciaries of the 50/50 Raffl e. Shoes and Clothes for Kids (SC4K) is the only non-profi t organization in Greater Cleveland providing new shoes and clothes at no charge throughout the year to thou-sands of children in need. For more information, log on to www.sc4k.org, or follow SC4K on Twitter @sc4k.

On Tuesday, Browns players, alumni and staff, as well as the, Browns Women Organization, will join the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to prepare Thanksgiving meals and package food items to be sent to local shelters, food pantries and food sites through-out Northeast Ohio. The gathering is one of many jointly hosted events by the Browns and Greater Cleveland Food Bank as the groups help fi ght hunger and ensure families have access to nutri-tious meals throughout the year, particularly during high times of need like the winter holidays.

Additionally, the Browns have helped supply nearly 100,000 meals for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank this holiday season, includ-ing turkeys and other healthy selections. Browns fans contributed to that mark through their donations during the annual First and Ten Food Drive, hosted on Nov. 20 before the team’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Browns and Greater Cleveland Food Bank also host Taste of the Browns each year, a tasting with Cleveland’s top chefs that raises money and awareness about hunger in the local community. In September, the 18th Annual Taste of the Browns was co-chaired by TE Gary Barnidge and alumni LB Judge Dick Ambrose.

The Browns are dedicated to #give10 through the team’s First and Ten initiative. Launched in June 2014, the Cleveland Browns First and Ten campaign is the team’s community program, established to inspire fans to volunteer in and help their communities through-out the world by volunteering for 10 hours each year. Through First and Ten, the Browns are the only NFL club to promote a long-term volunteering program that unifi es the team and its entire fan base, with the goal of impacting every individual’s city across the globe, as well as the franchise’s local community. All Browns fans are encouraged to join the volunteering effort by signing the First and Ten pledge on the team’s website and by sharing their stories with #give10.

The Cleveland Browns hosted their annual Browns First and Ten Food Drive before Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The First and Ten Food Drive is a yearly program that provides fans an opportunity to support the holiday efforts of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Prior to entering the stadium, fans donated non-perishable canned food items to support families in need. In addition to the items collected, each dollar donated to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank can provide four nutritious meals to indi-viduals in the greater-Cleveland area.

Sept. 11, 2016Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, Pa.

Despite trailing by just three points in the third quarter, the Cleveland Browns fell to the Eagles, 29-10, after Philadelphia pulled away late for the season-opening victory at Lincoln Financial Field. Eagles’ rookie QB Carson Wentz got out to a fast start as he led a nine-play, 75-yard TD drive on their fi rst possession of the game. Wentz connected with WR Jordan Matthews on a 19-yard TD pass to cap the drive and take a 7-0 lead. Cleveland’s defense would bounce back including a sack from LB Christian Kirksey at the end of the fi rst quarter. In the opening minutes of the second quarter, Eagles’ K Caleb Sturgis converted a 22-yard fi eld goal attempt to give Philadelphia a 10-0 advantage. The Browns responded on the ensu-ing possession as QB Robert Griffi n III found WR Terrelle Pryor Sr. along the sideline on a 44-yard gain. Four plays later, RB Isaiah Crowell fi nished off the seven-play, 75-yard drive with a 2-yard TD run that left Cleveland trailing 10-7. Sturgis split the uprights once more at the end of the second quarter on a 38-yard fi eld goal attempt, giving the Eagles a 13-7 lead at the half. In the third quarter, the Browns cut into the lead on their fi rst drive of the half as Griffi n connected with rookie WR Corey Coleman on a 58-yard pass that would lead to K Patrick Murray capping off Cleveland’s drive with a 35-yard fi eld goal and cutting the lead to 13-10. However, the Browns’ following possession ended with the Eagles defense forcing a safety to take a 15-10 advantage. Philadelphia capitalized and scored once more on their next possession when Wentz conducted a nine-play, 73-yard scoring drive that fi nished with a 35-yard TD pass to WR Nelson Agholor. The Browns defense closed the third quarter with rookie DL Carl Nassib registering his fi rst NFL sack. The fi nal points of the game came late in the fourth quarter as Eagles’ RB Ryan Mathews punched in a 1-yard TD run with just over a minute remaining in the game.

RAVENS 25BROWNS 20

Sept. 18, 2016FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio

Despite a fi rst quarter lead, the Ravens rallied back to defeat the Cleveland Browns, 25-20. The Browns started the game fast as QB Josh McCown led a nine-play, 75-yard opening drive that culminated in a 31-yard TD pass to rookie WR Corey Coleman, giving Cleveland a 7-0 advantage. After forcing a Baltimore punt, RB Isaiah Crowell broke free on the fi rst play for an 85-yard TD rush on the Browns next possession. Cleveland extended its lead after an INT by DB Joe Haden – his fi rst of two INTs in the game – gave the Browns the ball back in Ravens territory. McCown connected with Coleman once more for a 27-yard TD. The Browns could not convert on the ensuing PAT as K Patrick Murray’s attempt was blocked and returned by the Ravens for the defensive two-point conversion, leaving Cleveland with a 20-2 advantage with just over four minutes remaining in the fi rst quarter. Late in the second quarter, Ravens’ QB Joe Flacco marched Baltimore down the fi eld with a six-play, 75-yard scoring drive that ended with a 7-yard TD pass to WR Mike Wallace. After an interception by S Eric Weddle, Baltimore was able to score before the half as K Justin Tucker converted on a 52-yard fi eld goal attempt as time expired, cutting the Cleveland lead to 20-12. The Ravens got out to a fast start in the third quarter as Flacco led a six-play, 75-yard TD drive to start the second half, connecting with Wallace yet again on a 17-yard TD pass that left Baltimore trailing 19-20. The fi nal points of the game came in the fourth quarter as Tucker converted two more fi eld goal attempts – the fi rst from 49 yards away, and the second from 41 yards away to give the Ravens a 25-20 advantage. Despite a late push from the Browns offense, an INT by Baltimore LB C.J. Mosley with just 13 seconds remaining in the contest sealed the victory.

The Dolphins defeated the Browns in overtime, 30-24, in their home opener at Hard Rock Stadium. The Browns defense started strong as DB Jamar Taylor intercepted Dolphins’ QB Ryan Tannehill on the second play of the game. Miami responded by forcing a turnover of their own as DL Cameron Wake strip-sacked Browns’ rookie QB Cody Kessler. On their second possession, Tannehill led the Dolphins down the fi eld on a fi ve-play, 61-yard scoring drive including a 26-yard TD pass to WR DeVante Parker, giving Miami a 7-0 advantage. To open the second quarter, Browns’ K Cody Parkey capped off a 10-play, 58-yard drive by connect-ing on a 46-yard fi eld goal attempt, cutting the lead to 7-3. Later in the second, Cleveland DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun intercepted a Tannehill pass and returned it 27 yards for a Browns TD, giving Cleveland a 10-7 lead. The Dolphins were able to tie the game at 10 on their ensuing possession as K Andrew Franks split the uprights with a 37-yard fi eld goal. Cleveland closed out the scoring in the fi rst half as Parkey converted on a 48-yard fi eld goal attempt and sent the Browns into halftime with a 13-10 advantage. Miami regained the lead in the third quarter as Tannehill connected with WR Jarvis Landry on a 42-yard TD pass. In the fourth quarter, the Dolphins stretched their margin when Tannehill found RB Damien Williams on a 10-yard TD pass, giving Miami a 24-13 edge. Cleveland responded, as WR Terrelle Pryor Sr. capped off a nine-play, 83-yard drive with a 3-yard TD rush. Kessler found TE Gary Barnidge on the ensuing two-point conversion attempt, cutting the lead to just three. The Browns were able to deadlock the contest at 24 with just over three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter as Parkey connected on his third fi eld goal of the game, this time from 38 yards away. After a strip-sack by LB Corey Lemonier, Cleveland had a chance to win the game as time expired in the fourth quarter but could not convert a 46-yard fi eld goal. In overtime, Landry set up the Dolphins’ game-winning TD with a 32-yard reception along the sideline. On the next play, Miami RB Jay Ajayi found the endzone on an 11-yard TD rush to secure the Dolphins victory.

REDSKINS 31BROWNS 20

Oct. 2, 2016FedExField, Landover, Md.

The Redskins pulled away from the Browns in the fourth quarter for a 31-20 victory at Fe-dExField. Washington initiated the game’s scoring as QB Kirk Cousins opened the day with a 12-play, 75-yard scoring drive, including an 8-yard TD pass to TE Jordan Reed. On their next possession, Cousins led the Redskins down the fi eld again, eventually capping off the eight-play, 80-yard drive with a 9-yard TD pass to Reed, giving Washington a 14-0 advantage. Cleveland cut into the Redskins’ lead in the second quarter with a 12-play, 81-yard drive cour-tesy of a 2-yard TD rush by RB Isaiah Crowell. Following an interception by DB Jamar Taylor, Cleveland evened the score at 14-14 when rookie QB Cody Kessler connected with WR Ter-relle Pryor Sr. on a 9-yard TD pass – Pryor’s fi rst career TD reception. Washington regained its edge later in the half when Redskins K Dustin Hopkins split the uprights on a 49-yard fi eld goal attempt, but K Cody Parkey tied the game up once more with a 51-yard fi eld goal as time expired in the second quarter. Cleveland gained its fi rst lead of the day on its opening possession of the third quarter when Parkey connected on another fi eld goal – this time from 45 yards away – to take a 20-17 advantage. Washington stole momentum as the fourth quarter began, however, and capitalized following three different Cleveland turnovers. After forcing a fumble, Cousins found RB Chris Thompson on a 5-yard TD pass, giving the Redskins a 24-20 edge. The Browns defense bounced back and managed to keep Washington out of the end zone after another fumble, but an interception by Redskins DB Josh Norman set up a 1-yard TD rush by Redskins RB Matt Jones, giving Washington a 31-20 lead to seal the game.

PATRIOTS 33BROWNS 13

Oct. 9, 2016FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio

The New England Patriots defeated the Cleveland Browns, 33-13, at FirstEnergy Stadium. In his return from a four-game suspension, Patriots QB Tom Brady was effective and began his day by leading an eight-play, 80-yard TD drive, capped by a 1-yard RB LeGarrette Blount TD rush to gain a 7-0 advantage just under fi ve minutes into the fi rst quarter. The Browns answered quickly as rookie QB Cody Kessler responded with a nine-play, 75-yard TD drive of his own, including an 11-yard TD pass to WR Andrew Hawkins to even the game at 7-7. The Patriots soon regained their lead with another fi rst quarter score as Brady orchestrated an eight-play, 75-yard TD drive, fi nding TE Martellus Bennett on a 7-yard TD pass. On the Browns’ ensuing possession, a Kessler fumble on an incomplete backwards pass trickled out of the end zone for a Patriots safety, giving New England a 16-7 advantage. Early in the second quarter, Brady found Bennett in the end zone once again on a 5-yard TD pass to push the Patriots’ lead to 23-7. The Patriots opened the third quarter with another scoring drive, going 75 yards in just eight plays, including a third and fi nal Brady TD pass to Bennett – this time from 37-yards away – to garner a 30-7 advantage. In the fourth quarter, QB Charlie Whitehurst, who stepped in for Kessler following an injury late in the fi rst quarter, connected with TE Connor Hamlett on a 17-yard TD strike, marking Hamlett’s fi rst TD reception in his fi rst ever NFL game. Cleveland was unsuccessful on its ensuing two-point conversion attempt, leaving the Browns with a 30-13 defi cit. The fi nal points of the game came from the foot of Patriots K Stephen Gostkowski as he split the uprights on a 31-yard fi eld goal attempt, stretching New England’s lead to 33-13.

TITANS 28BROWNS 26

Oct. 16, 2016Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tenn.

The Titans held on to defeat the Browns, 28-26, at Nissan Stadium. Titans QB Marcus Mariota got Tennessee off to a fast start with a scoring drive on the opening possession of the game, including a 41-yard rush by Mariota on the fi rst play from scrimmage and an 11-yard TD pass to WR Rishard Matthews to cap the drive just six plays later. The Browns were able to respond on their fi rst possession of the day as QB Cody Kessler got the Cleveland offense moving with a 43-yard completion to TE Gary Barnidge on Cleveland’s fi rst offensive play. Just four plays later, K Cody Parkey put the Browns on the board with a 45-yard fi eld goal, leaving Cleveland with a 7-3 defi cit midway through the fi rst quarter. Parkey would go on to split the uprights once more – this time from 37 yards away – to leave the Browns trailing just 7-6 as the fi rst quarter came to a close. Mariota extended the Titans’ lead early in the second quarter when he found WR Kendall Wright on a 48-yard TD strike to go up 14-6. Cleveland was once again able to pull within one point of the Titans late in the second quarter when Kessler capped an impressive nine-play, 94-yard drive with a 7-yard TD pass to WR Terrelle Pryor Sr., which left the Browns trailing 14-13 at the half. Titans RB DeMarco Murray scored the only points of the third quarter when he fi nished Tennessee’s seven-play, 70-yard drive with a 3-yard TD rush to garner a 21-13 advantage. In the fourth quarter, the Titans furthered the margin when Mariota ended a long 12-play, 80-yard drive that took up 6:59 with a 15-yard TD pass to TE Anthony Fasano. The Browns chipped away at the Tennessee lead on the ensuing drive, going 75-yards in 13 plays, including a Kessler 5-yard TD pass to Pryor. However, Kessler was unable to con-nect with a receiver on the two-point conversion attempt and the Browns trailed, 28-19. After WR Rashard Higgins recovered a Parkey onside kick, Cleveland found the end zone for the last time as RB Duke Johnson Jr. completed a nine-play, 62-yard drive with a 1-yard TD rush. Trailing 28-26, the Browns were not able to recover Parkey’s second onside kick attempt and the Titans held on for the victory.

The Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Cleveland Browns, 31-17, at Paul Brown Stadium. After the Cleveland defense forced a Bengals three-and-out, the Browns scored on their second consecutive possession behind key rushes from rookie QB Kevin Hogan and RB Isaiah Crowell. Crowell ultimately found the end zone on a 1-yard TD rush to give Cleveland its fi rst lead of the game, 10-7. The Bengals responded, as Dalton connected with WR Brandon LaFell on back-to-back plays – the fi rst a 21-yard strike, followed by a 44-yard TD pass and recep-tion – to regain the lead, 14-10. The fi nal points of the fi rst half came via a 48-yard Hail Mary TD pass from Dalton to WR A.J. Green as time expired, giving Cincinnati a 21-10 advantage at halftime. In the third quarter, Hogan (who took over for QB Cody Kessler after he left the game with a concussion) continued to have success in the run game, capping an eight-play, 75-yard drive with his fi rst career TD on a 28-yard rush, the longest by a Browns QB in team history. Cincinnati responded just two plays later as Hill broke free on a long rush of his own and found the end zone on a 74-yard TD scamper to put the Bengals ahead 28-17. The fi nal points of the game came on the Bengals ensuing possession when K Mike Nugent split the uprights on a 36-yard fi eld goal attempt and gave Cincinnati a 31-17 advantage with just over four minutes remaining in the third quarter. In his fi rst NFL game, Hogan rushed for 104 yards, the second-most ever by a Browns QB, while fellow rookie LB Emmanuel Ogbah recorded two sacks on the day.

QB Josh McCown led the Browns down the fi eld on the game’s opening possession, eventually fi nding WR Andrew Hawkins on a 5-yard TD pass to cap the eight-play, 75-yard drive and take an early 7-0 lead. Hawkins fi nished the game with a career-best two TDs on fi ve catches for 31 yards. After the Browns defense forced two con-secutive New York three-and-outs, Cleveland scored once more in the fi rst quarter as K Cody Parkey split the uprights on a 41-yard fi eld goal attempt, giving the Browns a 10-0 advantage in the fi nal minutes of the fi rst quarter. The Jets scored their fi rst points of the day in the early stages of the second quarter when Jets RB Bilal Powell fi nished a 12-play, 87-yard drive with a 35-yard TD rush along the sideline. Cleveland’s defense responded nicely and the Browns managed to extend their lead, scoring twice after the two-minute warning as RB Isaiah Crow-ell capped a nine-play, 70-yard drive by punching in a 1-yard TD run and Parkey converted his second fi eld goal of the game – this time from 27-yards away – to send the Browns into halftime up 20-7. New York scored on its fi rst two possessions of the third quarter as Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick led back-to-back impressive drives. First, Fitzpatrick connected with Jets WR Quincy Enunwa on a 24-yard TD pass to complete a 12-play, 78-yard drive, cutting New York’s defi cit to six. The Jets then took their fi rst lead of the day when Jets RB Matt Forte found the end zone on a 4-yard TD scamper to complete the eight-play, 84-yard drive and give New York a 21-20 advantage with just over two minutes remaining in the third quarter. Forte scored once more on a 2-yard TD rush to begin the fourth quarter, stretching the Jets lead to 28-20. After Jets K Nick Folk’s 24-yard fi eld goal, New York furthered the margin to an 11-point advantage with just over four minutes left to play. The fi nal points of the game came when McCown connected with Hawkins for his second TD of the day and then connected with WR Terrelle Pryor Sr. on the ensuing two-point conversion. After an unsuccessful onside kick attempt, the Browns were unable to get the ball back and the Jets held on to win, 31-28.

Nov. 6, 2016First Energy Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio

As rookies QB Cody Kessler (concussion) and WR Corey Coleman (hand) returned to the lineup from injury, the Browns scored on their opening possession to grab the initial lead but ultimately fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 35-10, at FirstEnergy Stadium. Kessler completed 19 of 27 passes (70.4 percent) for 203 yards with one TD and no interceptions for a 104.4 rating, his third game with a rating of 100 or greater in the past four games, while Coleman posted three catches for 41 yards. After receiving the game’s opening kickoff, Kessler directed a 62-yard FG drive, capped by K Cody Parkey’s 31-yard conversion to provide Cleveland the initial 3-0 advantage. The drive was sparked by Kessler’s 44-yard completion to RB Isaiah Crowell out of a unique formation that split multiple offensive linemen out wide, resulting in the longest pass and reception of Kessler’s and Crowell’s careers. Crowell fi nished the game with career bests on four receptions for 63 yards. The Cowboys responded with a 10-play, 75-yard TD drive to claim a 7-3 lead as Cowboys QB Dak Prescott found Cowboys TE Jason Witten for a 26-yard score. Dallas extended the lead to 21-3 with two TDs – a 10-yard rushing score by Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott and a 6-yard touchdown reception by Cowboys WR Cole Beasley – with 1:50 to play in the fi rst half. In the ensuing two-minute drill, Kessler completed fi ve of six passes for 58 yards, including a 12-yard TD to Terrelle Pryor Sr. with 23 seconds remaining in half, to set the score at 21-10 at halftime. The Cowboys registered TDs during each of their fi rst two possessions of the second half on an 8-yard run by Elliott and a 2-yard reception by Cowboys TE Gavin Escobar, respectively, to increase the lead to 35-10.

BROWNS 35RAVENS 10

Nov. 10, 2016M & T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Md.

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Cleveland Browns, 28-7, on Thursday Night at M&T Bank Stadium. Both teams were held scoreless in the fi rst quarter as the Browns defense forced consecutive punts on the Ravens fi rst two possessions. On Baltimore’s third drive of the game, rookie DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun recorded his second INT of the season on a pass from Ravens QB Joe Flacco, bringing Baltimore’s scoring chance to a halt as the fi rst quarter came to a close. In the second quarter, the Ravens struck fi rst as K Justin Tucker split the uprights on a 25-yard fi eld goal attempt to gain a 3-0 advantage. Cleveland responded on the ensuing possession as rookie QB Cody Kessler capped a seven-play, 75-yard drive with a 25-yard TD pass to fellow rookie TE Seth DeValve. The TD reception was DeValve’s fi rst in the NFL and gave the Browns a 7-3 lead. As time expired in the half, Tucker converted one more fi eld goal attempt – this time from 40-yards away – to leave Baltimore trailing just 7-6 at halftime. The Ravens also struck fi rst in the third quarter when Flacco connected with TE Darren Waller on a 4-yard TD pass, fi nishing a nine-play, 64-yard Baltimore drive and regaining the lead, 13-7. Two possessions later, Flacco threw his second TD pass of the quarter when he found WR Steve Smith Sr. on an 11-yard TD strike. The Ravens converted on the ensuing two-point conversion attempt as Flacco connected on a pass to FB Kyle Juszczyk to give them a 21-7 edge with just over two minutes remaining in the third. The fi nal points of the game came in the fourth quarter via a 27-yard TD pass from Flacco to WR Breshad Perriman, capping a 12-play, 90-yard drive and extending the Baltimore lead to 28-7. Browns DB Joe Haden recorded his third INT of the season while LBs Demario Davis and Jamie Collins Sr. both registered sacks.

STEELERS 24BROWNS 9

Nov. 20, 2016First Energy Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio

The Cleveland Browns brought the game within one score midway through the fourth quar-ter, but the Pittsburgh Steelers held on to defeat the Cleveland Browns, 24-9, at FirstEnergy Stadium. On the Steelers’ only possession of the fi rst quarter, RB Le’Veon Bell led Pittsburgh down the fi eld on a 16-play, 82-yard drive that consumed 9:18 seconds off the clock. Steelers K Chris Boswell eventually capped the drive with a 32-yard fi eld goal to give Pittsburgh a 3-0 advantage with just over two minutes remaining in the fi rst. In the second quarter, Boswell converted a 33-yard fi eld goal attempt to fi nish a 16-play, 68-yard drive that chewed up an-other 9:28 seconds. On the fi nal possession of the fi rst half, Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger drove the Steelers down the fi eld and gave them a chance to score as time expired. Following two defensive penalties in the end zone against the Browns, Pittsburgh eventually scored on its third try when Bell scampered in for a 1-yard TD rush. Roethlisberger connected with TE David Johnson on the ensuing two-point conversion attempt, giving the Steelers a 14-0 edge at the half. The Browns responded well in the third quarter, fi rst forcing a three-and-out on Pittsburgh’s opening drive and then scoring their fi rst points of the day when QB Cody Kessler led an 11-play, 48-yard drive that culminated in a 24-yard fi eld goal by K Cody Parkey. The Steelers then answered on the ensuing possession as Boswell split the uprights for his third fi eld goal of the day – this time from 22 yards away – to give Pittsburgh a 17-3 lead with just a few seconds remaining in the third quarter. To begin the fourth quarter, QB Josh McCown, who replaced Kessler following a concussion, led Cleveland down the fi eld on an 11-play, 75-yard drive. McCown found TE Gary Barnidge on a 14-yard TD pass to bring Cleveland within striking distance as a missed PAT from Parkey left the Browns trailing only 17-9. The fi nal points of the day came via the Steelers defense when LB Ryan Shazier sacked McCown in the Browns’ own end zone and knocked the ball free. Steelers DL Javon Hargrave jumped on the loose ball for a fumble recovery TD, giving Pittsburgh a 24-9 advantage.
