Classroom Procedures &Expectations
Miss Capal
Comanche Team
Have all necessary materials with you.
Retrieve your bell-ringer notebook from
the shelf.
Be in your assigned seat and complete
the bell-ringer.
Look to the board for Today’s Agenda
and Learning Target.
Record homework in your agenda book.
Be attentive, focus on the day’s lesson, and participate when appropriate.
When working in a pair or group, everyone must cooperate and participate.
Remain in your seat and be facing me while I am instructing.
Always place classroom materials, notebooks, dictionaries, etc., back on the shelves where they belong.
Clean up your area, pick up trash on the floor.
Stay in your seat until you are dismissed.
There are no bells; you are expected to go immediately to your next class.
Place your tardy excuse note on my desk. If you do not have a note, this is an unexcused absence; just have a seat.
You should then follow normal daily procedures without further interruption.
Wait until I am not instructing the class and you will not be disturbing everyone to ask permission.
You may leave the room no more than 3 times per quarter.
Take the hall pass with you. No one may leave the room without it!
See me the day you return either at the
beginning or end of class to receive
make-up work assignment.
Place all make up work in to the black
tray in the back of the room.
Make up work is to be completed and
turned in within 1 week of your return.
All cell phones must be turned off upon entering the school building and remain turned off until the 20 minutes after the school day (3:00 pm).
All late work will have points deducted from it; the amount of points will depend on the point value of the assignment and how late the work is turned in.
No work will be accepted more than a week after it is due.
Please bring tomorrow or Friday; I will collect… - 1 spiral notebook - 1 composition notebook
What you need to bring from your locker
everyday… - SpringBoard book OR E21 book - Language Arts folder with loose leaf paper - Pencil - Highlighters
