I would like to congratulate the children on the commitment and effort they have shown in the lead up to the concert. An enormous thank you to our hardworking staff who put in many hours of work. It was fantastic to see almost 500 members of our school community attend. Junior & Senior Recorder Groups Both of our Recorder Groups competed at the Bathurst Eisteddfod on Friday. Outstanding results were achieved with the senior recorder group coming first and the junior group placing third. NAIDOC Week This Friday we celebrate NAIDOC week. The theme for this year is ‘Voice Treaty Truth’. We will hold a NAIDOC Assembly on Friday followed by traditional indigenous games in the afternoon. Students are able to wear the colours of the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander flag. Western Athletics Dubbo Good luck to our athletes who are representing Bathurst District at the Carnival in Dubbo on Friday. PRINCIPALS RECOGNITION A big shout out to our hardworking canteen volunteers who do a marvellous job keeping our children and staff well fed. OUR STUDENTS OF THE WEEK Our Students of the week are: Jaxon Grabham, Bailey Sewell, Aston Robson, Dakota-rae Willard, Izabella Moulds, Noah Peter, Harry Shipley and Zara Harvey. OUR ASSEMBLY AND PLAYGROUND AWARD WINNERS Scarlett Hann and Taylor Carpenter are congratulated for being Respectful Safe Learners. They both received a voucher from the canteen to thank them. OUR WINNERS OF THE CLASS SHIELD Congratulations to 1/2TJ who are the winners of this week’s class shield. They are congratulated for being Respectful Safe Learners. Tobey Isbister and Felicity Murray collected the shield on behalf of 1/2TJ.

P&C NEWS

Clothing Pool The clothing pool will be open every 2nd Tuesday morning 8.30am – 9.15am. There are a large number of second hand jumpers and jackets available. Canteen Our school canteen menu is now available via School Stream to place lunch orders on Mondays and Fridays; cash orders will still be taken at school. Our school canteen needs more volunteers to help out on Mondays. If you would like to help please contact the front office. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
