PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
Thank you to everyone for the smooth transition of class changes on Monday. All students are now in their new classes and very excited. Reminders: To keep our students safe please ensure all students enter and exit the school by the top gate unless they are catching a bus where the teacher on duty will walk students to the bus gate. The school carpark is for staff only. There will be NO whole school assembly this week due to the setup of the Book Fair in preparation for Tuesday. Year 4 excursion to Brewongle payments need to be completed by the end of the term. If you need to organise a payment plan please see Miss Kath in the office. Netwaste Raglan Public School recently participated in NetWaste’s Primary Schools Waste Education Program. The program is part of Council’s waste education strategy, aiming to engage with the next generation to encourage awareness about waste management and minimisation for a more sustainable future. Stage 2 participated in the “It’s a Wormy World” session. This activity-based session was delivered by an experienced environmental educator in a fun and interactive manner. Students were introduced to worm farming as an alternative method for the disposal of organic waste. Through hands-on activities, students discovered how worms feed, eat, move and live in a worm farm.
