ALBERT EINSTEINThe German-born American physicist Albert Einsteinrevolutionized the science of physics. He is best known for histheory of relativity. He was born in March 14,1879 in Ulm,Germany. Unfortunately, he was a poor student and he wasunable to speak with ease and grace at age nine. Still he wasfascinated by the laws of nature, experiencing a deep feelingof wonder when puzzling over the invisible, yet real, forcedirecting the needle of the compass. He began playing theviolin at the age of six and would continue to play throughouthis life. At the age of twelve he discovered geometry and wastaken by its clear and certain proofs. Einstein masteredcalculus by age sixteen. Einstein’s formal secondary educationended at age sixteen. He disliked school and just as he wasplanning to find a way to leave without hurting his chances forentering university, he entered at Federal Institute ofTechnology (FIT) in 1896 and he passed his examination tograduate from FIT in 1900. In 1902 he was hired as aninspector in the patent office in Bern. Six months later hemarried Milena Maric and they had two sons. Einstein died inApril 18, 1955.
One day, as we were walking, a pirate stopped us and told us that if we found Atlantis he would give us a big, old
pirate ship and a million gold coins.
So, my friends Billy, John, Mario and I decided to find the lost city of Atlantis. Mario is the rich boy. George is the brave
one. Billy is the funny one. John is the scared one, but the smart one.
First, we met on a sailing ship that Mario bought in Arabia. The ship was big. It had 4 bedrooms, a ware house, a
meeting table and a big kitchen. It was like a house on the sea. Mario’s admired it.
We started from Cyprus, we passed Greece, Italy, Spain and we entered the Atlantic Ocean. We prepared all our
equipment; diving masks and oxygen tanks.
After that, we dove into the ocean. As we dove in, we saw lots of beautiful fish and coral reefs. ‘It is very beautiful’,
George said.
Next, the coral reefs appeared to be a gigantic underwater two-headed sea dragon. It was the guardian of Atlantis.
That was the scariest thing we had seen in all our life. ‘It is so scary’, John said.
Then, the sea dragon chased us breathing hot water. With his claws he grabbed Billy and John. John said that we were
doomed. Quickly Mario and I pushed a heavy rock on one of the monsters’ head. It let go of my two friends and it
sunk to the bottom of the sea.
Finally, after 6O minutes of searching we found the lost city of Atlantis. Billy said, ‘we did it’! The whole city was made
of gold. We found a lot of historical items. Of course we gave them to the museums. We took a lot of photos with our
phones. It was a fascinating adventure! It was a dangerous adventure but we had fun and a nice time! We love
challenges!!!Look what the newspaper wrote about us:
” Four young children have just discovered the lost city of Atlantis. They, with their families, will begiven medals by the president of theUnitedStates.”

The gorge of Vikos is one of the most famous landforms in Greece. It’s located 30 kilometers northwest of Ioannina and is the deepest gorge in the world! It’s the core of the Vikos – Aoos national park, where a great variety of rare species of plants and animals can be found. The gorge is about 11 kilometers long and at many points the depth exceeds 1000 meters. The tributary of Aoos, Voidomatis, which runs through it, has water all seasons. “Vikos” bottled water comes from here. The gorge was created after intense geological redevelopments during the geological seasons. The first traces of human activity in the area that have been identified were dated to 40000 BC. The plants found in the area of the gorge is of a particularly large variety.Vikos gorge is a popular travel route. The tour for an experienced team lasts from 4 to 5 hours, offering wonderful pictures. From the village of Varadeto in Belio, as well as from the position of Oxia, the view to the gorge is panoramic. In the area of the gorge any human activity related to livestock farming and logging are strictly forbidden.LABIS RAGOYSIS

Andy Kossyvakis
Once upon a time there was a captain named Andrew who
was sailing around the world. Andrew was a fat ugly man who
ate burgers every hour. At the same time, he was as brave as
Odysseus.
Then, Andrew was waiting for his tourist who had
arranged a tour of the Atlantic Ocean with his ship. The tourist
arrived after a couple of hours, his name was Andy, he was
taller and thinner than captain Andrew and he ate tons of
vegetables.
After that, they set off and suddenly there was a big storm
and the ship sunk. Then, one merman saved the explorers and
he said, “let’s take them to the doctor merman.’’ The doctor
merman helped them survive underwater with a special gadget
and then the mermen helped the explorers build a new ship.
Afterwards, the explorers became friends with the
mermen. They ate fish with vegetables. The captain became fit.
In the end, the captain and the tourist Andy left, continued the
journey and sailed around the world.

METEORA
Meteora is a rock formation in central Greece. The rocks are very high and they are hosting monasteries. The six Orthodox monasteries are located near the town of Kalambaka. Every day lots of believers visit the monasteries. The Meteora is a touristic area and it is also included in the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE LIST.
COFFEE MAKERMelitta Bentz created the first drip coffee maker in1908. Melitta Bentz used a filter she made out ofblotting paper. Since the coffee maker is what peopleusually think of when they hear coffee maker, it is thequick and easy answer. The actual history of the coffeemaker goes a little bit farther back. The history of thecoffee maker, like many inventions, began long ago.The Turks were known to brew coffee way back in 575a.d. and the history of the coffee maker really beginsthere. Much of the history of coffee maker has beenlost to the ages, so no one really knows much aboutthe history of the coffee maker from the time of theTurks to 1818, when the first coffee percolator wascreated.

Camera
The invention that I’m going to present is‘the camera’. It was invented in France byJohann Zahn and Joseph NicephoreNiepce in 1865. It changed over timeboth its size and its technology. Now thecamera is smaller and it can bewaterproof. I think the camera is veryhelpful because it captures importantmoments.

I am going to speak about a place called Syvota. Syvota
is in Epirus. The first beautiful thing about Syvota is the
sea. The sea is so clear and clean. There are a lot of
caves where you can swim. The second thing I like about
it is the village. The village has a lot of restaurants where
you can eat delicious food. I would recommend Syvota to
everybody, to go and have a good time!

NATURAL WONDERS
I would like to present the Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia which, in my opinion, should be nominated as a natural wonder of our planet!I am nominating this place, because it is one of the most unique natural attractions in the country. It is true that it is also the most popular, composed of sixteen lakes coming together and producing natural plank walks and waterfalls. In my opinion, it is magical and the beauty is hard to resist.I believe that if you are a person who loves nature, you will love what Croatia has to offer you! Trust me and you won’t be disappointed!
The story of the phone
Spyros Gontzes
The phone was invented in 1876 by Graham Bell. It
became very popular during the 20th century and
over a million consumers around the world were
using it. The first landlines were a little small. They
could be very colorful and have either buttons with
numbers on them or dial number wheels. They could
be very fancy and funny. In addition, people used it
even daily. They were also connected together with
their bases with a cable.
Secondly, the first wireless phone was invented by
the Bell labs company and It was used by people
who lived in Scandinavia first. Then everyone
started to buy them. Now, they have a smaller base
and they are plugged into sockets. They are small in
size and have funny designs on them. They can also
look like toys or characters from many children
movies too!
