Scope Definitions: International - organizations location outside the US, International in the name of organiza-tion/sponsor (i.e. Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI)), or if organization has international members

National – organizations inside the US, national listed in the name of the organization

Regional – organizations located within a specific region (i.e. MNRS)

State – organizations located within a specific state

Local – organizations within a 25-mile radius of Iowa City

University – University-wide

College – only pertains to College of Nursing

Dates are important:

Most screens require at least one date field be filled in to save the record.

Professional Memberships do not require any dates.

For activities that you started but have not yet completed, specify the start date and leave

the end date blank.

Location fields:

Fill in the field(s) that make the most sense for the activity.

We are interested in developing reports to show how faculty are active off campus.

Things to know before you get started ...

There are fields on this screen that are either hidden or view-only. For example, on the Personal and Contact Information screen we have added emplid. This field is added when administrators set you up in the APR and will be useful when we start using data in HR to automatically maintain the Faculty Status screen. We are working with the vendor to see...?
