ADP DSI UK Head Office- Automotive QA LEADJune 2011 – August 2013

I moved to the head office to take the opportunity of being QA Lead in development of the General Ledger on the latest version of the ERP system, by creating an accounting system that could be marketed globally and caters for Latin accounting which has now been established in Latin accounting countries. Supported Drive 1 and Rev 8 iterations by ensuring that developments and bug fixes were produced to the level required and tested. Produced release documentation and click scripts for regression testing along with providing familiarisation/handover training for new software to other associates, teams and customers where required. I also undertook on-site support for pilot testing projects or related off-site support as required.

ADP DSI – Commercial Division SENIOR ACCOUNTS SUPPORT CONSULTANT Feb 2004 – June 2011

This role required extensive Accounting and Trading knowledge. Main point of contact for customers with general accounting queries, system use queries, period end cover and reconciliation assistance. Determining if the system issue is set up, user knowledge or a defect and dealing with it accordingly taking into account their business practices and the internal SLA deadlines. Acting as out of hours cover for customers period and year ends to resolve any issues in system or accounting procedure. INCLUDE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANTJANUARY 2002 – JANUARY 2003

Responsible for a region of Include; a division of Centre for British Teachers (CFBT). Assist the project managers with their budgets, funding applications, finance queries and petty cash. Produce monthly accounts for each project for both the project manager and the Financial Controller of Include. This role was time pressured and funding applications had to be correct and submitted in set time frames with all correct supporting documentation.

MICROLIGHTS CREDIT CONTROLLEROCTOBER 1998 – DECEMBER 2001

In this role I was the credit controller for a lighting manufacturer. Duties included processing credit applications, debt collection, ensuring the credit insurance policies were adhered to, monitoring/setting credit limits, producing monthly statements, bank reconciliations and instigation of debt collection procedures on bad debts.

BENNETTS INSURANCE ACCOUNTS ASSISTANTAPRIL 1993 – SEPTEMBER 1998

Responsible for a selection of insurers which involved making sure they received payment for the policies sold, less commission within specified time period. Investigation of any discrepancies between the branches the insurers figure. I also audited the branches with a view to reducing their liabilities and resolving any outstanding issues.

Personal Details

I have a passion for new experiences; enjoy trying new things and visiting new places as often as we can as family. A large amount of my spare time is spent being an active Beaver Scout leader in Dubai, being able to plan and create exciting meetings where young boys can experience new things and learn life skills gives me great fulfilment. Weekends are enjoyed by spending time together as family and being with friends. Sporting wise I enjoy rugby, golf and swimming.
