The award-winning GYS choirs will present a delightful mix of traditional and newcarols in beautiful choral arrangements, carols written by the children, a lively Hanukkah song, a Victorianskating song--and Leroy Anderson’s classic “Sleigh Ride”! Special guest will be outstanding young play-ers from the Suzuki String School of Guelph. Here is a heartwarming way to introduce your family to thebeauty of the season.Founded in 1991 and now celebrating its 21st year, Guelph Youth Singers has reached national promi-

nence through provincial and national awards at the Canadian Federation of Music Festivals. Its three soloCDs, including a brand-new anniversary release titled, Into the Breeze, are sold throughout North Amer-ica and are regularly played on Canadian radio stations.GYS is always looking for new choristers who love to sing. Choristers enjoy the chance to learn to sing

well, read music, participate in drama workshops, perform…and to enjoy the company of other talentedyouth. Auditions are now being scheduled for entry into January 2012 season. Audition appointments aredesigned to give the child a “mini lesson” and an enjoyable experience. Singers are invited to enter thechoir in September and in January.
