The Level 3 Diploma in Hair and Media Make-Up is a occupational qualification for learners seeking a career as an employed and/or self-employed theatrical media make-up artist working with performers to a high level of occupational ability, providing hair and make-up services in the media, theatre, performing arts, fashion and photographic industries. Overview - Once you register online you will then be sent your e-Portfolio login details along with a video explaining how to navigate our E-Portfolio system. - Your allocated tutor will then contact you directly via telephone for induction which includes an explana- tion of the course structure, how the you can further stay in contact with your tutor and what kind of support is available to you throughout your course journey. - You will then be allocated your first knowledge units and can start learning immediately. - Weekly allocated support time with your tutor through the webinar (e-portfolio system) will be arranged according to your schedule. These will be one-to-one sessions or group sessions depending on your needs. - Starting from week six, practical training groups will be arranged by your tutor. - Over the duration of the course the you will be expected to attend approximately 10 sessions of practical learning held by our specialists. These sessions are designed to aid the you in completing your end of course observations. *Once you have paid your deposit a FREE kit which includes a silicone face and other items, will be sent out to you within four weeks. This is to assist you when practicing different skills in preparation for practical assessments.* Did you know? The entire course is 75% online assessment and 25% is based upon the aforementioned practical evidence collected during your course. The course cannot technically be failed either, only prolonged. Level 2 hair or beauty qualification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory to enrol on this course as you can start as a complete beginner. You will need good English Skills as you are required to complete assignments for each module. Payment Plan All students can pay via our interest free deferred instalment plan. The course cost will be broken down into 0 – 12 payments. You would be required to pay your first payment (deposit) of £150.00 before the course starts and then the remaining agreed payments would be taken each month as per your agreed personal payment plan. Please note that this is an instalment plan that we have made available due to the current situation with COVID-19 directed at clients who may not be in a position to pay all at once.
