CIRRASOFT CPS Cirrasoft CPS is a mildly cationic, substantially versatile softening and antistatic agent for synthetic and natural fibres especially cotton, knitwear, garments and piece goods. TYPE Cationic APPEARANCE Ivory Coloured Paste SOLUBILITY Readily dispersible in water, it should preferably be diluted with luke warm water. COMPATIBILITY Stable to hard water and high levels of electrolytes. Compatible with non-ionic and cationic products. Incompatible with anionic products. PROPERTIES Possesses good resistance to yellowing particularly on cotton and viscose where it exhibits good softening properties. It can be safely added to the dye bath when dyeing acrylic fibres, and used in an exhausted anionic dyebath in the presence of an antiprecipitant (Matexil DN-VL). Cirrasoft CPS produces a soft, non-greasy handle on all fibres at low application level, and does not promote soiling. It shows good resistance to washing and dry cleaning. Good lubricity is imparted to yarn, which minimises breakage when winding off. Excellent softness is imparted to garments with Cirrasoft CPS, especially on cotton hosiery, knit wear, and piece goods. pH ( 10% Solution) 4 6 SOLID CONTENT 19 - 21 % (Minimum) APPLICATION (a) Application by exhaustion. Apply 0.5 - 3 % on weight of fabric at pH 4.5 - 5.5 for 15 - 20 min at 40 ° C. (b) Application by padding. Apply 10 - 30 g/l .The same quantity can also be included in

  • CIRRASOFT CPS

Cirrasoft CPS is a mildly cationic, substantially versatile softening and antistatic agent for synthetic and natural fibres especially cotton, knitwear, garments and piece goods.

TYPE Cationic APPEARANCE Ivory Coloured Paste SOLUBILITY Readily dispersible in water, it should preferably be diluted with luke

warm water. COMPATIBILITY Stable to hard water and high levels of electrolytes. Compatible with non-ionic and cationic products.

Incompatible with anionic products. PROPERTIES Possesses good resistance to yellowing particularly on cotton and

viscose where it exhibits good softening properties.

Apply 0.5 - 3 % on weight of fabric at pH 4.5 - 5.5 for 15 - 20 min at 40 C. (b) Application by padding.

Apply 10 - 30 g/l .The same quantity can also be included in

  • resin baths to give a soft handle with improved tear strength and sewing characteristics.

    (c) Application from dye bath containing anionic dyes.

The product should be diluted with lukewarm water (not hot) before adding to the softening liquor or exhausted dyebath. HANDLING AND Store between 35 F/ 2 C and 105 F/ 40 C. The usual precautions STORAGE in keeping chemicals away from skin and eyes and avoiding excessive inhalation of vapour should be observed. SHELF LIFE 12 months
