Student Council Google Classroom Code: wib2wmfwib2 Candidate Contract for Elected Office 2020-2021 The position you are seeking comes with a good deal of prestige and influence as a student leader. You will be representing the interests of Cinnaminson High School’s student body and as such, will be expected to adhere to a higher code of conduct than that of the student body. As an officer, you accept being judged on this code of conduct. ___________________________ ____________________ Print Name of Candidate (Print the name of the office) As a condition of running for office, I agree to act at all times in a manner that provides a positive role model for my peers and that demonstrates to parents, administration, faculty, staff and the community, the high standards of the students that I represent at Cinnaminson High School. Criteria and Conditions for Student Council Candidates include, but are not limited to the following: Candidates must have at least a 75% marking period GPA from last school year. Candidates must have no more than fourteen (14) unexcused absences from school for a year long course, seven (7) days for a semester course, or four (4) days for a quarter course. Candidates must not engage in derogatory campaigning against another candidate in any form, including but not limited to, word of mouth, text messages, personal networking sites, web pages, speeches, posters, blogs, and any other media used to defame another candidate. Violation will result in disqualification. Candidates must meet all deadline requirements set forth in the schedule of deadlines. If absent from school on a due date, item must be submitted to Ms. Forbes (B113) or Mr. Perekupka (A203) or by email on the day of the candidate’s return to school by 3:00pm. Failure to meet deadlines will result in disqualification. Presidential Candidates are encouraged to submit a video speech no more than 2 minutes long that will be posted three

● Candidates may put up no more than three (3) campaign posters. All posters must be approved and signed by Mr. Meile or Ms. McCann. All posters must be removed by 3:00 pm on Friday, October 10, 2020. Failure to comply will result in disqualification or removal from office if elected.

● Candidates must not distribute stickers, food, candy, or beverages. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
