BAPTISM PROCEDURE: Baptisms are held on the first and third Sunday of every month at 1:30 pm. This is the preferred time for Baptisms. Parents requesting a private Baptism must write to the pastor. Private baptisms usually occur in church; however if a funeral comes in, the Baptism may be transferred to Resurrection Chapel. Both parents are required to attend the Baptismal Class. a) Initial registration meeting with priest-on-duty in Rectory, weekdays,
9:00—5:00 or at 7:00 pm. (No appointment necessary). b) Information class with Sister Danielle on last Monday of the
month for one hour 7:30—8:30 pm prompt in lower Church Hall. c) Next class will be February 26 and March 26, 2018. (Please do not

Registration OPEN 2018 March Mayhem! 1st & 2nd Grade Intramural Basketball
Resurrection CYO will sponsor a fun and instructional intramural basketball program for 1st and 2nd grade boys and girls in late February and March. Our March Mayhem! program is a terrific introduction to sportsmanship and the fundamentals of basketball, aimed at developing 6-8 year olds. Volunteer coaches follow a tried-and-true curriculum developed over the past five years.
• Details: Program is open to the entire community; CYO eligibility rules do not apply; invite friends and neighbors! Teams play Saturdays/Sundays, Feb. 24/25; March 3/4, 10/11, and 17/18 - 8 one-hour sessions, played at Resurrection's Doty Gym. Cross-court games using 8-foot baskets and junior size basketballs. First 20 minutes will be drills, followed by instructional games for 40 minutes
• Volunteers: Resurrection CYO Basketball is a volunteer program. If you are interested in volunteering to help coordinate or coach, please indicate your interest on your child's online application.
• Registration: Please log on to our website at www.resurrectioncyo.com and click on the link to register online. Registration is first come, first served. Space is limited! The cost is $100 for the first child; $150 for 2 or more siblings.

PARENTS CORNER Please join the PARENTS ’ CORNER this 2017-2018 year, as we explore the wisdom and tools needed to draw closer to God, closer to family and closer to others in our daily lives. Be prepared for a blend of insights, humor and grace! Sr. Danielle Baran, will be facilitating these sessions. Our meeting is from 10 – 11AM on Wednesday, February 28th – “Conflict---An Agony or a Grace” - in the Nielsen Room in the Lower Church Hall.

before me and invite me inward to that silent, holy space that holds your Spirit. This
special time beckons me to see my life through Christ’s eyes and the truth and
reality of your love incarnate.
Give me the grace to enter the space of these days with anticipation of our meeting. And,
when I open my soul to your presence, let your loving kindness flow over me and seep into the pockets of my heart. I ask this for
the sake of your love. Amen.

A DREAM OR A REALITY? Our Aging Gracefully Program for this year will center a� round the theme of happiness. Please join us as we explore these questions and much more. Our next conference is on Wednesday, February 21, at 9:30AM in the Nielsen Room in the Lower Church Hall. The topic will be: “Do You You’re Your Mission In Life ”. Light refreshments served.
TWO YEAR OLD PROGRAM NEWS Registration for the 2018-2019 school year is occurring now. We have a few spaces available for September 2018. We offer classes two or three days per week, early drop off and an extended day. We offer tours of our outstanding facility and are happy to answer any questions you may have. SEEKING THE TRUTH
February is Catholic Press Month. Pope Francis offered this Franciscan prayer about our duty to communicate the truth to one another. It is something to think about and pray about. Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Help us to recognize the evil latent in a communication that does not build communion. Help us remove the venom of our judgments. Help us to speak about others as our brothers and sisters. You are faithful and trustworthy; may your words be seeds of goodness for the world: Where there is shouting, let us practice listening; Where there is confusion, let us inspire harmony; Where there is ambiguity, let us bring clarity; Where there is exclusion, let us offer solidarity; Where there is sensationalism, let us use sobriety; Where there is superficiality, let us raise real questions; Where there is prejudice, let us awaken trust; Where there is hostility, let us bring respect; Where there is falsehood, let us bring truth.
LENTEN WEEKDAY MASS Masses are conducted Monday through Friday at 8am and 9am, and Saturday 8 am. Please join us for the celebration of the Eucharist, the most important prayer of the Church.

TUESDAY MORNING HOLY HOUR There will be a Lenten Holy Hour in Church on the Tuesdays of Lent from 9 am-10 am with Fr. Jon Tveit. There will be Mass, homily, Exposition, Benediction, Reflection.
Fr. Jon’s theme is “Walking Through The Passion from the Gospel of Mark”.
PRAYING WITH VATICAN MASTERPIECES
There will be a Conference on alternate Thursdays Feb 22, March 8 and March 22 from 9:30 am – 10:30 am in Nielsen Room. Presenter: Fr. Mark Haydu. Fr. Mark is a author of 2 books, an artist, and former Director of Vatican Museum. Topic: “The Power of Beauty – Praying with Masterpieces at Vatican Museum.” Refreshments will be served.
DVD PROGRAM AND DISCUSSION
There will be a DVD Program, with Bishop Robert Barron on Thursdays
of Lent on (February 15th – March 22nd) 7:30 pm – or repeated on Friday’s of Lent at 9:30 am
(February 16th – March 23rd) in the Nielsen Room.
The Topic: “Untold Blessings: 3 Paths of Holiness”. Video by Bishop Barron is 30 minutes and reflection by Sr. Danielle afterwards.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS The Stations of the Cross will be conducted on the Fridays of Lent in Church at 7:00pm.
