Synopsis

Through the eyes and ears of a dog the world must be an exciting place, filled with unheard, distant, enhanced sounds. Following Millie, a four year Labrador into 2 minuets of hear audio accentuated world the audience will feel the excitement and fun of being a worriless bouncy dog, showing that the world can be a whole different place.

“The person stands at the counter of the work top, opening a tin foil

package that has just come out of the over, with steam gushing out of

the top. The dog stairs intensely at the at the food, contra zoom/vertigo

shot is used to show the intensity of the dogs concentration, The steam

that comes out of the food needs to have a sound steamy sound,

although unnatural it will let the food come alive through sound”

Shot using a camera and then Roto-scoped using Photoshop

Focusing on variations of sound to emotions, distance, depth, Rhythm and other such areas

Narrative sound

Mike is a scientist at a Bio-Chemistry company working in sunny England. Driving home one evening from a particularly bad day he’s got a lot of things on his mind and to much to be thinking about the road ahead, smashing into Jenny an recent unknown innocent victim to his work he ends up sealing his own fate at the hope of trying to save another's.

ScriptMike is driving in his car to get home from work. He is fiddling with his radio trying to change the stations to something else other than news, he seems to distressed and worried about the reports as if he is to blame - the stations are reporting on violent scene of enraged people.Jenny is distressed and holding her neck trying to run from something, she bleeding.Mike is still worried and distressed but he's not really concentrating on the road, a girl can be seen staggering in the road try to way him down for help moving in front of his car, it Jenny but he's not stopping.He see her at the last minuet and tries to brake but it's to late.A shot of Jenny is shown, she know she's going to die and life seems to disappear out of her eyes.He smashing into Jenny, there is a shot of her being hit by the car and hitting the floor.Mike sits in his car for a second and turns the car off (Make a sound to enhance the feeling in this situation)Mike gets out of the car and walks over to Jenny, he hesitates to go near herShe takes a massive gasp and Mike thinks she might still be alive.Mike runs to her side 'Oh my god she alive' Shouting out, looking around and getting out his phone he says 'SOMEONE HELP' getting down to help her. Looking back Jenny turns her head, Crunching sounds of her neck can be heard and she looks at him. She's infected.Panic and shock fills Mikes face, he's never been this close to someone in this state. Jenny, or what used to be Jenny, yells at him with a blood curdling shout (it would be good to use a rang of animal screams and horrid sounds) grabbing at his arm and scratching him.Scared and shocked Mike rips back his arm and runs to get back in his car. Getting in his car he slams the door and tries to turn on the car, but being so scared he can't quite turn his car on.He gets the car started and looks out of the front window. Jennies hand bangs on the bonnet as get drags herself to her feet. A side sort of her shot of this would be nice to allow for out side sounds of Jenny and the engine from inside and outside of the car. He pauses and the looks back reversing and then driving around her.Various shot of him just trying to think over what just happened and releasing he's been scratched, is he infected?He pulls up to his house and goes indoors. Shutting the door behind him he fall against it and wipes in faces, he staggers to his drinks cabinet getting out a glass and some scotch, the sounds around him of every day life flush in and out as if his head is going in and out of water. He leans down to grab some ice out of a small freezer from in the cabinet. Chucking it in the glass, in this shot the ice cubes fall into the glass very slowly as if they were ice bergs falling into the sea or into another iceberg. he then pours the scotch into the glass making the ice cubes crack and drowning them. Then speeding it up as he grabs the glass and gulps it down, so that symbolises the crushing, drowning, infecting stages of him turning into this crazed, rage blinded thing.after looking at himself in the mirror he stagger back and drops his glass, falling on the sofa, sounds can be heard as he's dying but down see a full on shot of him dying, he's dead.His wife can be heard in the house calling him and asking if he's there, asking what's gone at work, asking him as if he's heard the reports.His hand moves and there is a close up shot of his eye opening; it's not right. A pause, he gasps.Although this is a simple Script I've not yet added my ideas for sounds and will do that in my next updated script once I have looked at some Foley sounds and explain them more.
