Located in the heart of Bangkok, Chulalongkorn University is Thailand’s first and remains one of the Kingdom’s most prestigious universities. Founded in 1917 by King Vajiravudh in honour of his father, King Chulalongkorn, the university promotes higher education in the arts, humanities and sciences. At present, the university consists of 38 faculties and colleges, with an enrolment of around 37,300 undergraduate and graduate students. Having recently celebrated its centennial, the university remains committed to training students to play their part in the global community.

Chulalongkorn University is located in the very heart of Bangkok. The city has over one hundred art galleries, museums, cultural centres, theatres and creative spaces, making the Thai capital one of the most culturally diverse and vibrant art hubs in Asia. The university is easily accessed by most public transportation, including buses, the BTS Skytrain, and the MRT subway.
Apart from art and culture, Bangkok is a leading medical hub in Asia. This is due to the Thai government’s efforts to promote health tourism. Chulalongkorn University has contributed significantly to the development of the country’s medical and health research and services through its Faculty of Medicine, the second oldest medical school in Thailand, and the Faculty of Psychology. In addition, the university is connected to the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, which serves as a teaching hospital for the university’s medical students and will be a training resource for this programme.

Qualifications of Applicant: 1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music, Psychology, Health Science, or related fields with at least a 3.0 GPA 2. High level of music performance proficiency, especially in Piano, Guitar, and Singing 3. English Proficiency Test certificate (attained within the previous 2 years): CU-TEP score of at least 60 or TOEFL paper-based score of at least 500 or TOEFL internet-based score of at least 61 or IELTS (Academic) score of at least 5.0
4. Other particular qualifications will be based on an approval of the program committee. Document Submitted:
1. A 750-word Statement of Purpose describing motivation, current activities, research interests, and future plans 2. Two Letters of Recommendation (at least one of which must be an academic reference) 3. A curriculum vitae including portfolio of awards and achievements 4. Video-recorded performances of the applicant performing: 4.1 Two vocal songs accompanied by the applicant’s own guitar playing 4.2 Two vocal songs accompanied by the applicant’s own piano playing
4.3 Free improvisation on a melodic or harmonic instrument (3-5 minutes) 4.4 A short piece on the applicant’s main instrument (5 minutes)
