Need a break? At first, only add breaks that are necessary in your schedule. Creating breaks for mild preferences may drastically limit your options.
BIOL 1001 ‐ BIOL sections have 4 exam times scheduled on Thursdays from 6‐6:50 pm
• Do not schedule a break during this time if you are adding BIOL 1001
• The system will not allow you to schedule another class at this time. If you have a conflict with MUSI, you will need to submit a course conflict form.
Eliminate sections needing special permission
Eliminate these sections by clicking “Options” and unchecking them:
BIOL 1001 (106) – only Tues/Thurs option, but requires permission from department for enrollment (don’t pick this class).
CHEM 1001 (105)‐ smaller, flipped classroom, lecture is on‐line (TBA on schedule) and lab/discussion are in classroom
ENGL 1001 (380 and 381) – for English as a second language learners
HEAL 1025 – many sections are for Nursing majors only – check the “info” for each section carefully.
Once courses and breaks have been added, click Generate Schedules.

If the class was not added to your schedule, click ‘Add Another Class’ to return to your shopping cart.
Click the trash icon to remove the class from your shopping cart.
Go back to the Schedule Planner and begin the process to find another class
that fits into your schedule.
If you have to go back to Schedule Planner to find a new section of one class, be sure each class you are looking for is only checked once.
Keep only the new course you are trying to find checked in the “Courses” section.
Courses in which you have successfully enrolled are already listed under “Current Schedule”. Keep them checked there.
Schedule Planner will then run a schedule factoring in your current courses and any available sections of the new course you’re adding.
