He has two teenage grandsons now in his care due to the recent unexpected death of their father. 50~4~50 It’s time for the annual 50~4~50. For those of you who are not familiar with it, our church sets a goal of making up 50 baskets with $50 of food in

each one to give out to families in need at Christmas! Last year God had bigger plans, we distributed 100 baskets!!!! I’m so looking forward to what He has planned for us this year. 50 people + $50 = 50 blessed families at Christmas! Please stop by our display in the foyer for details and to make a donation!

During the annual Christmas Caroling Outreach at Midway Community Church, Jackson and his friends discover a time machine in the basement. After accidentally hitting a lever, they embark on an adventure throughout the twentieth century and learn how helping others changes lives. Seeing the caroling outreach effects over the decades, once-skeptical Jackson comes to know Christ better and discovers the true value of God's gift and why we celebrate His birth.

Ministry Lunch: You are in-vited to join us on January 6, 2013 for lunch and the unveiling of what we believe is God’s vision for Children’s Ministry for 2013. You will want to be there as we explore what God is getting ready to do in our church with our kids.

RHYTHM: This series is a journey into the story of three people who

play a role in the Christmas story—Mary, the Innkeeper, and the Wise Men. They all had a chance to get into Rhythm with the song God was singing. Some were in sync. Some were not. Join us this Christmas season as we look and listen for the rhythms of God. Starting Wednesday, December 5th @ 6:30 in the teen room.

NMI Christmas Cookie Walk: The Mission Council is asking you to think ahead to December 8. You can start today making Christmas candy or baking Christmas cookies for the annual Cookie Walk. Try freezing them, and preparing them for delivery on Friday, December 7. Keep watching for more information. Make this a family project to support MISSIONS.

Coming on January 6, 2013: Join the 7 challenge: a seven-month experimental mutiny against excess, tackling seven areas of overconsumption in the spirit of a fast; a fast from greed, irresponsibility, apathy, and insatiability.
