Food that is ready-to-eat. It is quick, easy and cheap. We call fast food junk food because it is filled with artificial colours, sweeteners, and flavours.

This type of food is highly processed. This means that there are chemicals, fats, salt and sugar added in order to improve taste and lengthen shelf life. Eating too many processed foods can be bad for two reasons

1. The chemicals can be harmful to our bodies2. This food makes you feel full without providing

the nutrients we need.
