Infrastructure – Taiwan Advanced Research and Education Network (TWAREN, TANET

Backbone) provides IPv4 and IPv6 dual services since Mar. 2004– Chung-Hwa Telecom NGN (FTTX) will provide IPv4 and IPv6 dual services

• IPv4 Depletion Crisis is gaining more attention now!!!

• Chinese Taipei Internet is being upgraded from IPv4 to IPv4/IPv6 coexist.

• Driven by the IPv6 program, TANet, TWAREN, ISP, Telecoms, and the vendors are getting involved
