We will use metal tins, small pieces, tweezers if necessary, and glue to put together something magical. Constellation Key Chains* Tue., March 17, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Create a wooden keychain with your favorite constellation using piercing tools and jewelry pliers. Shine a flashlight through the keychain to project the constellation. Legendary Ladies* Sat., March 28, 1 - 2 p.m. Commemorate Women's History Month with the Pikes Peak Library District and the Legendary Ladies! Hear from six historical reenactors who portray real, courageous women who helped shape the West. Learn how to identify which snakes are venomous, what snakes eat, where they live, and how they find their prey. You may even get a chance to touch them! For ages 3 - 12. Homeschool @ High Prairie: Goldilocks, Dinosaurs, and STEM* Wed., March 11 and Thu., March 12, 1:30 - 3 p.m. This engaging program introduces children to Mo Willemss Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs, a laugh-out -loud funny version of a classic tale! Homeschoolers will dig deeper into the story with a variety of engaging hands- on STEM activities from building and design challenges to dinosaur fun. For ages 7 - 12. Kids Make Art: Sensory Tiles* Fri., March 27, 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Your child will use process art to create a colorful sensory tile with fun, assorted materials and a vinyl record that they can display at home!
