In loving Memory of our Mother & Wife

Janice Laliberte April 19, 1998

An angel lived among us,

A gift from God above.

She showered us with kindness

And shared with us her love.

She cherished every moment

With the man who was her life;

Walking hand in hand together,

Facing life with all its strife.

She loved her children dearly,

Each one a different way,

Nestled close within her heart.

Though, now, she’s far away.

She’s gone to live with Jesus.

But, she’s here with us, today,

Smiling down on every one of us,

And telling us she’s O.K.

Lovingly remembered and forever in our

hearts, Glen, Glenda, Marc, Cody & families

In loving memory of our sister/auntie

Carol Alcrow April 27th, 2009

They say there is a reason They say that time will heal.

It’s been six years Since she has been gone. Our family chain is broken And nothing is the same

We often speak her name But all we have are memories

Her resting place we visit And put flowers there with care

But no one knows the heartache As we turn and leave her there.

Missing you & always in our hearts,

Philip Sr, Sandra, Charly, Allison, Josie & Phil Jr.

The Graveyard Fund Update Submitted by Velma Roy

The Graveyard Fund had ticket sales on April 14th. Thank you to Cecile Fiedler, Mary Bottrell and Agnes Lafleur for your donations. We raised a total of $117.00. We will be continuing with ticket sales for the months of May & June and are also looking at other fundraising ideas. Feel free to donate any items at our ticket sales or to give me some fundraising ideas. My number is 306 288 7187.

I would personally like to thank Agnes Lafleur, she started this whole thing with Vivian Bouvier and I. Thank you Agnes for being our spokesperson and our guide as to what is needed.

We are also thinking of a date for graveyard clean up. We would like to fix up crosses for the graves and to put names where there aren’t any. We need to have an idea of how many crosses that are needed. Any help we receive is greatly appreciated.

them in death”

Are you worried about the illegal activities in your

neighborhood or community?

There is two places that you can contact. The

calls that are taken are all confidential-meaning

your information taken will not be disclosed.

Safer Communities and Neighborhoods

(SCAN)

On any block and in any neighborhood, it only

takes one house that is harboring illegal

activities to undermine the safety of all

residents of that community and affect the

property values throughout that neighborhood.

_____________________________________

The Safer Communities and Neighborhoods

(SCAN) legislation is intended to empower

residents to take back their neighborhoods by

reporting problem residences or businesses that

are habitually used for illegal activities. These

activities could include drugs, prostitution,

gang or criminal activities, child sexual abuse

or the unlawful sale or consumption of alcohol.

About SCAN

The legislation for SCAN includes a process

for police to address public safety concerns

related to fortified buildings and/or the

surrounding land.

There is an Investigation Unit in both

Saskatoon and Regina.

Making a Report to SCAN

If you have a concern about a property in your

neighborhood, for your own safety you should

not attempt to investigate on your own, or

approach anyone on the property. SCAN

enables you to share your concern

confidentially with investigators who will

follow up on your concerns.

If you are suspicious of a property in your

neighborhood, do not investigate it yourself or

approach the occupants.
