Forest Dwelling Chewton Glen Style - The Ultimate Luxury

Hideaway

A new concept in luxury breaks has been launched at the prestigious Chewton Glen, on the edge of

the New Forest in Hampshire. Treehouses. With a difference.

Chewton Glen is already renown for being one of the UK's best hotels, with a series of accolades

including five AA Red Stars, three AA Rosettes, World Travel Awards - England's Leading Resort 2012,

Andrew Harper Readers' Choice Awards 2012 and the 'Most Excellent Hotel Award' 2012 - Conde

Nast Johansens. (Just to name a few.) Chewton Glen also has the honour of having been a member

of the Relais & Chateaux Collection since 1971.

Set in the wooded grounds of the hotel, these unique structures challenge most people's

perceptions of what treehouse living might like. Think not of your childhood treehouse,

enthusiastically constructed by someone's dad - a bit crooked, cold and grubby - great for kids to

play in, but would you actually want to be there as an adult?? Cast all these pictures aside and let

your imagination run wild.

As you arrive at the hotel, you are escorted to a golf buggy which drives you into the woods to your

chosen tree house. Your eyes travel up the long stilts on which perches a staggeringly beautiful

wood clad haven, enveloped by a glass balcony... and is that a hot tub you can see? It's a far cry

Dad's well-meaning attempts at DIY.

The magic touch of Chewton Glen has once again yielded a phenomenon. The exterior of each tree

house is architecturally in keeping with the woodland setting, whilst being tastefully glamorous. It's a

unique way to be close to nature, relax and enjoy the seclusion. Huge windows offer breath taking

views through the canopy to the valley nearby.

Every modern need has been catered for. Each suite has been tastefully appointed and contains

sleeping quarters, lounge, kitchenette, dining area and bathroom. There are different kinds of suites

to choose from but all of them benefit from the same luxuries, such as king size bed, outdoor hot

tub, daily delivery of breakfast hamper, wood burner, and tasteful design.

The Treehouse Studio Suites are perfect for 2 people; the Treehouse Hideaway Suite for 3 people

and has a magical bedroom 'pod' that is accessed via a covered glass walkway; and the Loft Suites

are ideal for families, catering for 2 adults and 4 kids or 4 adults and are made extra special by the

secret galleried bunk area specially designed to thrill young adventurers!!

Private treehouses are available and are perfect for larger families or groups of friends. They consist

of a combination of a Studio Suite with Loft Suite which houses 8 people or a Loft Suite and

Hideaway Suite suitable for 7 people. The different suites are interconnecting.

Chewton Glen have recognised that a bit of pampering may be in order to make this special retreat

just that little bit more fabulous. 'Treehouse treatments' have been specially designed to

complement the settings, and with names like 'Cocooned in nature', 'New forest flow' and 'Tree top

tranquillity', these luxurious extras may be incredibly hard to resist.

Chewton Glen has won numerous awards for its food so it would seem a terrible waste not to make

the most of being in such close proximity to the hotel. With this in mind, Executive Head Chef Luke

Matthews and Head Chef Andrew du Bourg from the Vetiver restaurant (which just happens to be

on the Sunday Times' Top 100 Restaurants list) have created a specially designed hamper delivered

via a secret hatch in the treehouse, so you can dine in peace - and style!

Given the unique experience of the concept, and Chewton Glen's reputation for excellence, a luxury

break in the Treehouses has to be a definite 'must' on your wish list.

So when you’re ready to get away from it all, why not begin by exploring Chewton Glen, specially

selected by the luxury hotel experts at CrispWhiteSheets.com.
