About me I am a life long learner!

• This is my twelfth year teaching Chemistry• I did my Doctorate from India and then M.Ed. from Seattle University

in Special Education• I taught at Lake Washington School District for three years before I

transformed into a Spartan!• I have two kids and one of them is at Skyline• I am super passionate about my subject and have high standards for

my students and myself• I am here to help students learn and grow!!! It’s a journey

What are the learning outcomes?

How will the students be assessed?

• Participation: Students will be graded on homework (expect daily). It should not take more than 25-30 minutes (if it takes more time then it means, the student is struggling and needs to see me).

How can I help my student to be successful? Research supports reviewing helps in retention and HW plays an important role in reinforcing the newly acquired concepts.

• Basic Algebra 1 Math skills Assessment : Reflection and follow up• Chemistry pre and post assessments by the district• The pre grades will not be counted
