2000 cobalt, Co cobalt, Co I 7200 25 - 026 Three-Dimensional Open-Framework Cobalt(II) Phosphates by Novel Routes. The structures of the novel open-framework compounds (III) and (IV) are determined by single crystal XRD. (III) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /c (Z = 4) and (IV) is orthorhombic (space group P2 1 2 1 2 1 , Z = 4). The structures of both compounds are formed by alternating CoO 4 and PO 4 tetrahedra. The connectivity leads to the formation of large 16-membered channels in (III) and to 8-membered channels in the case of (IV). Strong hydrogen bonding involving the amine cations and framework oxygens is observed in both compounds. — (NATARAJAN, SRINIVASAN; NEERAJ, S.; CHOUDHURY, AMITAVA; RAO, C. N. R.; Inorg.
