Fabrication of Ag—Sn—Sb—Te Based Thermoelectric Materials by MA-PAS and Their Properties. — AgSn18SbTe20 and Sn50Te50 thermoelectric materials are pre-pared by mechanical alloying from powder mixtures of the elements followed by plas-ma-activated sintering (653 K, 15 min). The maximum power factor of 1.98·10-3 Wm-1K-2 is obtained at 723 K for AgSn18SbTe20 which is higher than those of NaSn18SbTe20 and SnTe reported previously.
