Chef Juan Antonio Rodríguez Executive Chef LE MERIDIEN Kuala Lumpur Chief Judge of 5 th NESTLÉ Golden Chef Hat Award Chef Antonio (or better known as Chef Antoine) enjoys a ‘hands-on’ approach to cooking and managing his team as Executive Chef of LE MERIDIEN Kuala Lumpur; where he currently works since 2004. Chef Antoine has extensive international work experience spanning 36 years in the culinary field during which he has held several senior positions in 5-star resorts, city hotels and restaurants. His various achievements to date includes winning the title Chef of the Year Ultimate Platinum Award (Regional series, 2011-2013), Most Outstanding Culinary Team FHM 2005- 2008, Best Executive Chef Asian Platinum Award 2005-2008 (HAPA), King of the Kitchen Platinum Award (Regional series, 2011-2013) and chosen as the Chef Coach Asian qualification for the Malaysian team at Bocuse d’Or in Shanghai in June 2012.

He has been named as Malaysia’s Top 5 PastryChef in Hospitality Asia Platinum Award andHAPA Platinum Awards for Asian Best PastryChef 2011. He also participated in the WorldGuinness Record of Largest Chefs Catering InDaejeon South Korea for World Association ofChefs Societies.

Chef Peter Chan has 30 years working experience inkitchen & foodservice operations in internationalhotels, resorts and healthcare environment, withstrong skills in management of daily operation whichincludes nutritional value analysis, menu planning,food preparation & presentation, forecast, cost controland hygiene & sanitation.

He has spearheaded the opening of several 5-starhotels and was also part of the panel of InternationalJudges for Salon Culinaire Malaysia, Food HotelThailand, Food Hotel Vietnam, Food Hotel China,Shanghai and Food Hotel Asia, Singapore just to namea few. Chef Johari was the Chef Association of Malaysia’sPresident from 2005-2008. In September 2011, hewas named the National Expert for cooking skill in theWorld Skills Competition (Skills Olympic) representingMalaysia in London.

His many electronic media achievements include“Syoknya Rasamas” a TV3 Reality Show where ChefJohari was the food consultant and competitiontechnical designer. He was also the judge and host for“Master Chef Malaysia” Season 1 on Astro TVChannel.
