Just CultureCheema Services Limited have integrated Just Culture into our way of doing business.

We have a mission. Our pursuits and reason for being are grounded in certain values we have determined are most important to us.

We encourage each and every employee to protect these values by the choices they make and how they accomplish their duties.

We understand that people not only can, but will, make mistakes.

Sometimes these mistakes hurt others, or can cause harm to our company. Aware of this, we have designed a system that can catch those errors before they can become critical. If they do become critical we have designed contingencies to stop or reduce the bad outcome.

We have Just Culture concepts which help us to constantly improve our systems at the core, because our employees feel safe to raise their hand when they see a mistake or make an error or bad choice, so the system can be update and improved to help catch these events.

We as a company learn from our mistakes and near misses. We are efficient because our expectations are clear. We are stable because we are always learning.

Our profitability is strengthened because we are more efficient, stable and our risks are proactively managed.

Employee morale is high since every person is treated fairly and is empowered to do the best within their positions.

A Just Culture is a result as much as it is a set of management skills and tools that make it possible.

Just CultureJust Culture transforms an environment from the inside out.

Everyone works from the same page, and is made aware of our company’s values and how they are expected to make choices to protect us. Everyone is an active part of the plan and solutions.

We have identified three types of behavioural choices that every person makes and needs to manage.

1. Human Error

2. At Risk Behaviour

3. Reckless Behaviour

Cheema Services Limited holds its people accountable to one or more of the behavioural choices when they carry out three types of duties or expectations. These three duties are defined as:-

4. The duty to avoid causing unjustifiable risk or harm

5. The duty to follow the procedural rule

6. The duty to produce an outcome

These behaviours and duties are at the core of the five skills Cheema Services Limited applies to make this transformation possible.

7. Values & Expectations

8. System Design

9. Behavioural Choices

10. Learning Systems

11. Accountability & Justice
