College Projects
CE 4410 (Principles of Reinforced Concrete) – As a four-person team, we calculated all beams, girders, columns and slabs for a 5 story commercial building made entirely out of reinforced concrete.
CE 4750 (Professional Issues and Concept Design) – As a team of three, the group designed the girders, filler beams and columns of a 30,000 square foot office building made exclusively of steel while following guidelines set by AISC and the Baton Rouge Unified Development Code.
CE 4670 (Asphalt Design) – Research paper on incorporating recycled material in HMA pavement.
CE 4430 (Structural Engineering) – A continuation of the CE 4750 project with a larger focus on advanced structural analysis methods to determine design loads and steel members’ sizes and shapes.
Work Experience
Intern at Praxis 3 Architecture (December 2010 –February 2011)
Responsibilities included taking two-dimensional building plans made in AutoCAD and creating three-dimensional models of the respective structures using Revit Architecture.
Sales Associate at The Backpacker (July 2013 – March 2015)
Worked closely with customers providing information on such outdoor products such as sleeping bags, tents, camping stoves, and rock climbing equipment.
