If there is constant battling in our minds, then what will happen when we come into speech and action? We need to understand clearly where waste thoughts lead us, and also understand that battling is a huge waste of time. When our thoughts are like webs, they trap us, then like a spider that creates one web and then moves on and creates another, our own thoughts become our enemies. This is when there is enmity and animosity with others. Now let us take a thought to change that. Let us understand that we have a treasure-store of knowledge and a treasure-store of thoughts. Positive thinking is not about expecting the best to happen every time, but accepting that whatever happens is the best for this moment. We normally understand that positive thinking means we have to take a best thought in every situation, in every relationship. We then feel that nothing good happened although we thought positive and hat I thought has not happened. There is a very beautiful meaning of positive thinking. Positive Thinking doesn't mean to

expect the best every time but to accept that what is happening now is the best for this minute.

Expectation is Positive imagination because I expect everyone and everything will be perfect avoiding to my expectation. But positive thinking is to accept everything without disturbing my state of mind. We need to think positive at every moment and the next moment we need to take it in our control and make effort.

What is happening is right for me and this was what is necessary for me. This is true positive thinking!

When someone criticizes me, I lose my confidence in thus the capacity to do what I have to How do I take criticism in the right spirit?

In the journey of our lives, there are innumerable people that we meet. These people somehow become stepping stones in providing information about us, on the basis of their observation and their interactions with us. Mostly criticism maybe baseless at that moment, but may actually become a source of teaching for a future situation. Attitude is what counts the most. lf the atitude at the time of criticism is that of insult, then it leads to feelings of hurt. This further deters the ability to learn and the relationship with that individual gets strained. The lesser the ability to face criticism, the more the distance it creates. The main reason that it becomes difficult to face criticism is the lack of confidence that sprouts from deep ego. Confidence brings with it the power to learn, listen and imbibe.

e-Message for the Day

To be a master means to use the right power at the right time.

Expression:To be a master means to be aware of the internal qualities that one has. Also it is the ability to use these qualities as and when required. That means to be able to give an order and put into use in a second whatever internal power or virtue that is required at that time. If there is an awareness of the positive quality, and not the ability to put it into use within a second, it would not be called total mastery.

Experience:When I am a master I am able to have an experience of having control over whatever is happening around me. Even if something comes up suddenly, I still am able to feel the control over the situation and make the best out of it. I neither feel helpless nor blame others for what is happening.

A BEAUTIFUL SOLUTION

A father was engrossed in his work while his little daughter constantly distracted him in an attempt for him to make him play with her. To keep her busy, the man tore a page of printed map of the world from a magazine into pieces and asked her to go to her room and put them together to make the map again. The daughter was very young and he was pretty sure that she would take hours to get it done.

The father was surprised when he saw his little one coming out of the room with a smile and the perfect map within a few minutes. The stunned man asked his daughter how she could solve the puzzle so quickly.

“ Daddy, there is a woman's face on the other side of the paper, When I made the face perfect, I got the map right.” , replied the young girl.

There is always the other side to whatever you experience in this world. Whenever we come across a challenge or a puzzling situation, look at the other side. You will be surprised to see a different approaches to tackle the problem.
