Howard W. Lutnick is Chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald L.P., one of the world’s leading fi nancial services fi rms, and Chairman and CEO of BGC Partners Inc., a leading global brokerage company primarily servicing the wholesale fi nancial and real estate markets.

Mr. Lutnick guided the rebuilding of Cantor Fitzgerald following the devastating September 11, 2001 World Trade Center attacks that claimed the lives of 658 of the fi rm’s 960 New York-based employees. Since then, Cantor has provided over $180 million to help the families of the fi rm’s employees who were lost on that day. Cantor and its affi liates now have 3,500 employees in New York and 8,000 globally.

Mr. Lutnick graduated from Haverford College in 1983 with a degree in economics and joined Cantor Fitzgerald the same year. He was named President and CEO in 1991 and Chairman in 1996. He is a member of the boards of Haverford College, the Zachary and Elizabeth M. Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Disease Research, the Intrepid Museum Foundation and the National September 11 Memorial Museum. Mr. Lutnick received the Navy’s Distinguished Public Service Award, the highest honor granted by the Navy to non-military personnel. Mr. Lutnick and his wife Allison have four children.

Anshu Jain

As President of Cantor Fitzgerald L.P., Anshu Jain works alongside Howard W. Lutnick, Chairman and Chief Executive Offi cer. Mr. Jain directs strategy, vision and operational foundation across Cantor Fitzgerald’s strong client-focused businesses.

Mr. Jain was Co-CEO of Deutsche Bank from June 2012 to June 2015. He was also a member of the Management Board since 2009 and the Group Executive Committee since 2002. Mr. Jain joined Deutsche Bank from Merrill Lynch in 1995. He is widely recognized for building the Bank’s markets business and for helping transform Deutsche Bank into a global universal bank with a leading investment banking franchise. Mr. Jain has advised governments and industry bodies around the world. He led Deutsche Bank’s team advising the UK Treasury on fi nancial stability, sat on the Board of Directors of the Institute of International Finance and was a member of the Financial Services Forum. He served on the International Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. An ardent conservationist, Mr. Jain is working with environment and wildlife conservation groups in many parts of the world.

Mr. Jain received his Bachelor's in Economics degree, with honors, from the University of Delhi and his MBA in Finance degree, Beta Gamma Sigma, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Cantor Fitzgerald Capital Markets Summer Analyst ProgramThe ProgramCantor Fitzgerald’s 10-week Capital Markets Summer Analyst Program will offer students an opportunity to learn about the various product groups within ECM and DCM. Summer Analysts will take part in our rotational program consisting of two rotations, two projects, formal classroom training, as well as, participate in social, networking and team building events. Summer Analysts will spend 5 weeks in an Equities rotation and 5 weeks in a Fixed Income rotation allowing each intern to experience the depth and breadth of Capital Markets.

At the conclusion of the program, Summer Analysts will have a solid understanding of our businesses and will be considered for full time employment.

Qualifications/SkillsAll undergraduate students, regardless of major or area of study, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2018 and June 2019 are encouraged to apply. We typically look for the following in our candidates:

• Previous internships in a professional services or financial services industry

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

• The ability to work in a team environment but also thrive in an entrepreneurial culture

• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills

• Self-starters who displays initiative, drive, motivation and leadership
