CEUWEBINARSOfferredbyAICI(2018)PoliciesandGuidelinesforWebinarTrainers(2018)
• Webinar courses will be a minimum of (2) 90-minute sessions (.3 AICI CEUs) and amaximum of (10) 90-minute sessions (1.5 AICI CEUs). Trainers determine the length oftheircoursesbutneedtoensuretheyhaveanevennumberofwebinarsessions,sothatfullAICI CEU credit hours can be earned. Trainers are responsible for having their ownprogramsCEU-approvedbyAICI.
• Trainerscaneitherapplytohaveanexistingprogram,orcreateanewwebinarprogramtobe approved for AICI CEUs. Trainers are responsible for paying to have all webinarprogramsAICICEUapproved,inaccordancewithourAICICEUpaymentschedule.
• Trainersareresponsibleforfindinginteractivewebinarsoftwaretoruntheirpilotprogramwith three participants in attendance. Trainers can use a free version of software thatencourages participant learning (Example: AnyMeeting). For the actual AICI webinardelivery,trainersaretousetheAdobe®ConnectProsoftwaremanagedbyAICIHQ.
• Participantevaluationsfromthepilotwebinarmustbecompletedattheconclusionoftheprogramtoverifythevalueofthetraininganditsappropriatenessasawebinar.
• AICIWebinarTrainerswillagree toa three-monthexclusivewithAICI for theirapprovedwebinar.
• Trainerswillmaintainallintellectualpropertyrightsfortheirwebinarprograms.
• TrainersareresponsibleforschedulingaTrain-The-TrainersessionwithAICIHQonusingtheAdobeConnect Prowebinar software. The trainingmust take placeno less than sixweeksbeforethewebinarprogram.
• AICIWebinarTrainersmustbepreparedtopresenttoaminimumgroupof6participantsandmaximumof15.Thisnumberissetbecauseoftechnologycosts.
• AICIdoesnotallowsellingormarketingduringAICIWebinarCEU-approvedsessions.Thefocusofthewebinarsessionsisalwaysonlearning.However,atthecompletionofthe

finalwebinarprogram threeminutes are allowed formarketing anyproducts or servicesusingtheOpt-inapproach.
• Trainersarerequiredtosendhandoutsouttothesessionparticipants7dayspriortothescheduledwebinar.
• A sample of PowerPoint slides and handouts are required as a part of the AICI CEUapplicationprocess.
• For trainerswho present in another language besides English, the Training Plan and biomustbe translated intoEnglish.Themarketingandthe testimonialscanbewritten in thetrainers’nativelanguage.
• Any trainers who are not currently a CIP or CIM must send Liz Weinstein, Ph.D. CEUAdministrator,anapplication,bioanddescriptionofwhattheyproposetopresent.BothLizand ClareMaxfield, CEU Chair,willmake a decision as towhether the individual has thecredentialstoteachthecourse.
• AICIHQ is responsible for allmarketing of the course, registering participants, collectingfees, setting up the Adobe® Connect Pro software and providing the presenter webinarsoftwaretraining.
• The plan is to offer 2 webinar programs a month, so one program may be runningsimultaneouslywithanotherprogram.Allprogramswillbelistedasfaroutaspossible, intheAICICEUProviderEducationCalendar.
• Sometimes,members cannot attend a livewebinar. In order to benefit from thewebinarprogram,membersmaylistentoarecordingofthewebinarintheirowntime(On-DemandWebinar). To earn AICI CEUs by studying an On-DemandWebinar, participantsmust: a.)Complete a worksheet of at least six questions, based on the learning outcomes for thecoursei.e.onequestionperhalfhourofthecourse;b.)recordthewordcodethattheCEUProviderhasincludedduringeachwebinar(awordcodeforeachsession)andc.)completea Participant Training Evaluation. A copy of theworksheetmust be sent to theAICI CEUAdministratorbythepresenterpriortothewebinarpresentation.
• At thebeginningof the livewebinar theCEUProvidermustannounce that thewebinar isbeingrecordedandthatparticipantsshouldbesensitiveaboutwhattheysharebecause,atalaterdate,thewebinarwillbesharedwithabroaderaudience.
• WhenaCEUProviderreceivesacompletedworksheetandParticipantTrainingEvaluationfor an On-Demand Webinar, she/he must follow up with the participant to answer anyquestionsaboutthecourse.

WebinarCalendarSchedulingAlheliValeriowillbe inchargeof scheduling the2018AICICEUWebinarTrainingcalendar.Thiswillpreventsimilarprogramsfrombeingofferedsimultaneously.Schedulingwillbeonafirstcome,firstservebasisandallprogramswillbeofferedatleastonceayear.
• WeencourageourAICICEUWebinarTrainerstooffertheirwebinarsatdifferenttimesandindifferentlanguages,sothatallofourAICImembersacrosstheglobehaveanopportunitytotakeadvantageoftheseprogramsandearnAICICEU’s.
Compensation
• Webinar feesarecollectedbyAICI.Attendees registeronlineandmemberspaya feeof$1.00/minuteperAICICEUwebinarminuteandnon-memberspay30%higherrate.
• Webinartrainersarecompensated70%ofthecollectedrevenues,paidwithintwoweeksofall of the completed paperwork being turned into AICI headquarters. If trainers are co-presenting,paymentwillbesplitequallybetweenspeakers.
• AICIwould like to ask you to; consider donating 5%of yourwebinar income to theAICIAngelFundtohelpsupportfutureAICIeducationalprograms.
CancellationOncetheAICIWebinarTrainer/PresenterAgreement formhasbeensigned,cancellationofthewebinarbytheTrainerwillbeconsideredabreachofcontract.Itisacknowledgedthat,intheeventofsuchcancellation,AICIwillsufferharm,andtheTrainerwillthereforepaytoAICI,asliquidateddamages,thefollowingamounts:
• 59daysorless–Fullsessionpaymentfee$300.
• Sanctions–anyspeaker,whocancelsaftertheAICICEUTrainer/PresenterAgreementissigned,willbeprohibitedfromspeakingatthenexttwoAICIAnnualConferences.
TheAICIWebinarCommitteereservestherighttocancel/rescheduleawebinarif,oneweekpriortowebinardate,lessthan6peopleareregisteredfortheclass.
