Teaching Methods This program is delivered in a classroom based environment and also the simulatedwork place environment if applicable. The delivery may include face to face teaching,lectures, discussions, workshop activities, field trips, research; Computer basedtasks, home based learning activities group works, supervised practical sessions.

AssessmentAssessments may comprise of written assignments and project works. Assessmentsmay also include observations, portfolio of evidence, third part reports and workplace projects.

Career OpportunitiesOn successful completion of the Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (GraphicPre-Press) the trainee will have gained the skills and knowledge to be eligible towork as a pre-press tradesperson.

QualificationStudents successfully completing the course willreceive the Nationally Accredited; ICP30210 –Certificate III in Printing & Graphic Arts (GraphicPre-Press).

Admission Requirements andPrerequisiteApplicants must be at least 18 years or over.

Academic Requirements

To gain entry to this course, participants shouldhave successfully completed year 12 orsecondary studies in applicants home countryequivalent to an Australian 11* or 12qualification. (*Subject to the CountryAssessment Level)

Mature age students will also be consideredwithout minimum education requirement but withrelevant work experience within chosen area ofstudy and a demonstrated capacity to meetcourse requirements. Candidates are advised tosubmit relevant work experience evidenced bywork reference letter on company letterhead;work samples; and curriculum vitae.

English Language Requirements

An English Language proficiency level of one ofthe following:

- IELTS band score of 5.5 or equivalentinternationally recognised exam result in linewith DIAC regulations;

- Satisfactory completion of the ESL Course /English language course or satisfactorycompletion of 5-10 weeks ELICOS from aNational ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS)Accredited English Institution with an IELTSscore of 5.0

Course Duration Course is offered full time for ONE Year or 52Weeks including holidays on a full time basis.
