Dheepan is a Tamil freedom fighter, a Tiger.
In Sri Lanka, the Civil War is reaching its end, and defeat is near. Dheepan decides to flee, taking with him two strangers - a woman and a little girl - hoping that they will make it easier for him to claim asylum in Europe.
Arriving in Paris, the ‘family’ moves from one temporary home to another until Dheepan finds work as the caretaker of a run-down housing block in the suburbs. He works to build a new life and a real home for his ‘wife’ and his ‘daughter’, but the daily violence he confronts quickly reopens his war wounds, and Dheepan is forced to reconnect with his warrior’s instincts to protect the people he hopes will become his true family. In partnership with

Marrakech today…
Noha, Randa, Soukaina, and Hlima live a life of ‘love for sale’. They’re whores, objects of desire, flashes of flesh. In the heat of the night money flows freely to the rhythms of pleasures and humiliations suffered. But united in their womanhood, they’re queens of their kingdom. Full of light, dignity and joy, they manage to keep their spirits and dreams alive.
They’re loved, they’re unloved, they’re too much loved….

After an outlaw unknowingly leads a band of cannibalistic Troglodytes into the peaceful western town of Bright Hope, the monsters kidnap several settlers, including the wife of a local rancher. Despite his injured leg the rancher joins a small rescue party with the sheriff, his aging deputy and a strong-willed gunslinger. What follows is a journey into hell on earth as the posse comes to realise it is up against a foe whose savagery knows no bounds. Based on the novel by James Hamilton-Paterson
A romantic comedy of errors that plays on the distorted views and misperceptions men and women have of one another. GERALD and MARTA, our mischievous, sharp-witted, mettlesome protagonists, happen to be renting adjacent villas in a small hillside town in Tuscany. Through a series of hilarious misunderstandings involving a motley cast of criminals, rock stars, and film directors, he starts to think she’s a sex-crazed peasant woman from Eastern Europe, while she’s convinced he’s just a pompous, nitwitted Englishman. But underneath their mutual insults and condescending attitudes is a genuine attraction. They are, as it turns out, just two shy hermits trying to flirt. And in a sweetly ironic twist, it is the same bitter and foul-tasting liquor they both wickedly use to repel each other that winds up bringing them together in the end. A hilarious, wacky and wild British ‘battle of the sexes’ comedy.

OVER YOUR DEAD BODY by Takashi MiikeCast Kô Shibasaki, Ebizô Ichikawa, Hitomi Katayama
Yet another wild cinematic detour from madly prolific Japanese auteur Takashi Miike, OVER YOUR DEAD BODY unfolds within the walls of a theatre where a troupe of players are in rehearsals for a production of Yotsuya Kaidan, a 200-year-old tale of murder, betray- al, and phantasmagorical vengeance — and where life comes to imitate art in spooky and ultimately shocking ways. As theatre andlife begin to intertwine, the film builds to a nightmarish finale that only a filmmakeras perversely brilliant as Miike could have envisioned.
